Eyebags are beauty trend in Korea. Many actress actually do plastic surgery to get one, meanwhile people in my country following westard trying to erase theirs 😂
In other hand "bunny teeth" is also popular here. I don't know where it came from, but people in my country going rampage to get something that 10 years ago label as "butchered teeth" or bad teeth, just because some foreigner actresses have it.
I don't know what beauty standard we will have next.

idk if you do bc you didn't mention it, but if you also struggle with dark blue or purple coloration under your eyes (like dark circles etc) you should look into color correcting! sometimes your regular concealer doesn't cover everything bc the undertones might be different. the same goes for any redness around your face that you might have. green, for example, cancels out red, and orange cancels out blue. after color correcting, you just layer your regular concealer on top and do whatever else you need to do. color correcting was my favorite thing to learn when i started practicing with makeup bc it's literally like an art where you get to play around with colors to see what cancels out what. (sorry for rambling,, makeup is kind of a hyperfixation of mine 😓)

Have you ever lied? stolen? hated? been prideful? gossiped? swore? Or other bad things? I Can say without a doubt we’ve at least done something that was considered bad, consciously that we shouldn’t have done. this is called sin. It’s the act of doing something against what God wants in our lives.
Think about this. You have just invited someone over to your house, and that means you can place rules on what they do - because it’s your home! Now lets say this said person directly disobeyed the rules you’ve placed while they were there. you would be offended right?
This is exactly the situation with us and God. We are the person staying over in His creation, yet we consciously disobey- which is called Sin. We all have this problem and because of this God has to send us to hell because He is so just can’t just let these wrong doings pass. Think of it as a guilty criminal having to be sentenced to jail because the Judge knows it’s right. We are the guilty criminal. Hell is our punishment. And God is that Judge.
Well, this would mean that everyone would go to hell because we’ve all committed sin-disobedience from God, consciously. But here’s the good news. Jesus came to die on the cross, taking our punishment upon Himself, for our sins so we don’t need to go to hell. Think of that same analogy with the criminal. Now there is a person that’s willing to bail that criminal out and if that criminal accept that gift of bail, then they will be able to legally be free.
If we accept that, Jesus died on the cross for our sins and repent- turn away from sin-then we will be saved because we take His bail that He offers for free so we can go to heaven. Eyebags are NOT the same as the little fatty part under the eyes that Asian’s like to accentuate. They are two different things. In English, aegyosal, (or whatever it’s called in other Asian languages) are ‘eye love bands’. It specifically refers to a fatty part under the eye. In case you were wondering, it’s common to see in children. Most western adults don’t have them so it’s not accentuated in western makeup. Asian adults tend to have them though, so that’s why they accentuate it in their makeup.

I'm a first gen Nigerian-Egyptian and my partner is Jamaican-American. The genre has been STRESS with trying to incorporate everything and the back anc forth between everyone's superstitions, ceremony desires, food preferences, the three ceremonies... coordinating countries and not to mention my mother being very sick and things being worrisome about that.
We've truly considered eloping and going off the map for at least three months. We did have a mini ceremony for ourselves and that feels just as official as everything else that's to come (that's our secret marriage date imo lol).
This is such a beautiful and wonderful concept. I definitely have a couple intense stories from my previous dating history that I'll absolutely share too and possibly send in lol.
    Much love you two!

The eyeliner on the lower lid was popular in the U.S.A. in the 1980's. The goal was to emphasize the eyes. It was so popular that some band members got the line permanently tattooed on their lower lid. Look up artists like Bonnie Taylor, Madonna in 1985, and bands like RATT.

The line under the eye (not sure what Japanese call it, I only know it as aegyosal) works for Asians because many of them already have that puffy bit under their eyes, they're just highlighting it to look cuter. Speaking as a white westerner, it doesn't work for me at all. Not only do I not have the little puffy parts, but I have big round eyes so drawing on some fake aegyosal looks so ridiculous and over the top on me. 😭 I wish it worked though, I love the look of it.

Yes I totally totally get this.
A number of years ago in the late 1990s I was lucky enough to go on a Japanese tour to Japan. I got a chance to stay at this hotel resort in the mountains near Mount Fuji called the Hotel Koweikian (??) .
And I swear to God one of the most daunting things that I experienced while there aside from having the opportunity to go into a Japanese public hot bath was the fact that when it was time for dinner you literally were served your (umpteen course) dinner on about 35 different pieces of plate and ceramic ware.
There was no such thing as piling all the food onto the same plate and using one dish for at all. It just didn't happen that way. Honestly, I actually was exhausted from seeing so many plates and bowls set out in front of me.
A couple of things ab't Japanese dining culture that did not get mentioned here are that 1) Servers at restaurants will not bring you extra rice or any other extra food unless they can see that you've already consumed what's on your plate or in your dishes. 2) It's considered "bad manners" in Japan (according to what we were told) to actually leave a food on your plate. In other words there's no such thing as asking for more than you can consume in a single seating. At the same time leaving food behind on a plate sometimes can signal to the cook or to the hostess that you did not like what they have prepared for you.
