Still watching but the giant clam stopped me when I saw the Latin name reference to Ningaloo. I didn’t know there was a new species of giant clam recognized and endemic to Ningaloo! Thanks guys

Thanks, really appreciate your attention to detail. We learned that too in the making of the video. So cool.

Brilliant episode guys. One of the best of this genre of CZcams videos I’ve watched. Showed an entirely new side of Ningaloo - the First People’s connection and new locations (and a new clam species).

Never the oldest culture on earth ...... Ozzies .... no surprises with that one! Try Southern Africa where the oldest human remains were found. 😎

230000.00 years ago in Africa and just a mere 40000.00 years ago on the Oz continent

We said culture, not individuals. Their culture dates back up to 75,000 years ago and still exists today, making it one of the oldest continuous cultures on Earth. Thanks for watching :)

@@ningaloocrew Ofcourse the africans did not have any sort of culture ...... yeah rite! You need to travel to Africa if you want to see real culture and in Mozambique where I grew up there would be 18-20 different tribes all with their own culture which would out date ABORIGINAL culture by over 100000 years if not more.

We’re just going off what the generally agreed anthropological and archeological thinking is. The oldest culture in Africa is thought to be about 20,000 to 30,000 years and the oldest in Australia is thought to be at least 65,000 years. The oldest race is thought to be in Africa at 100,000 years +. Either way, both cultures are amazing. I worked in Namibia for several months and was lucky to find some incredible rock art on Brandberg Mountain plateau. I have spent time in the Kalahari and the bushmen there were incredible and taught me some amazing things. Ningaloo is my home, but if I wasn’t here, I think I would be in Africa. Thanks for watching and we are so glad you are passionate about these ancient cultures as we are.

@@ningaloocrew “Our results suggest that, rather than having left in a separate wave, most of the genomes of Papuans and Aboriginal Australians can be traced back to a single ‘OUT OF AFRICA’ event which led to modern worldwide populations,” said Manjinder Sandhu, a senior author from the Sanger Institute and University of Cambridge, in a statement released by the university. “There may have been other migrations, but the evidence so far points to one exit event.” Please change your untrue headline and good luck in the future with your fact checking!
