I'm almost at the 25 minute mark. Katt needs his space and time to assimilate a complete, well thought out response. I love Tyson and Hotboxin' - but Katt is much more of a conversational interviewee. More just isn't always better; you can tell he has a reverence for Mike and his track-record. It really should have been a special conversation between the two of them.

One thing I've noticed in Katt's interviews is, he has the unparalleled ability to relate to others. He stated he doesn't do these to promote anything, and he only talks to people he actually respects and wants to talk to. It shows, because he understands and appreciates their craft well enough to relate it to his own. That shows how much he respects the interviewers. It's obvious that he watched them as a fan beforehand, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to make such accurate comparisons. It's jarring when looking at the physical difference between Katt and Mike when you realize Katt IS the Tyson of comedy. As different as they appear to be, they are cut from the same cloth. Absolute masters of their craft.
Dude, i love finding out things like this. Ive liked his comedy(specials) but never seen the real Kat (interviews and just his own stuff). Especially looking at his previous stuff and seeing hes always been the same. This is a true MAN at its finest!

The levels of respect, patience, and humility Katt Williams has is so very clear here. My 1st time tuning in because i had no idea Mike had a podcast. Seeing Mike Tyson high as hell is hilarious.😂 But, also endearing because he becomes so sentimental about his family the higher he gets. My favorite part was clearly hearing Mike use the "N word" early on in the convo and then he got on a soapbox about NOT using the word then dropped the word at least a dozen more times before the interview ended. 🤣 I appreciate Katt gently correcting the brotha with that beautiful voice when he kept saying "Lil'". I'm not a proponent of that word especially when speaking of someone's accomplishments and hard work. If not for Katt, it would have been difficult to sit thru the entire episode but I enjoyed the dynamics. I always have learned so much from Katt and his ability to remain grounded during interviews, especially with people he respects and admires. He is certainly a thermostat and not a thermometer. ❤

His money, his freedom, his friends, his trust, his child. Yet he survied and came out on the other side. Man, I would love to interview this man! He has so much life experience on levels we hope we never have to experience. He is actually becoming the champion that he was crowned with years ago.
