What Mechanics? Easy Blind Lucilius Clear with Lancelot & AI (S++,

  • My blind/first attempt of Lucilius (The Final Vision Proud Quest) in offline mode with Lancelot and AI.
    Builds are included at the end of the video. My AI members are decently (but not fully) built - all have Terminus weapons but mostly unleveled Sigils.
    For those that just want to clear/farm this quest effortlessly, Lancelot with Flight over Fight is extremely cheesy and can basically ignore all mechanics. You can see me botching most of the labours and Paradise Lost checks (I didn't know what to expect) and still clear this with S++ easily. Just turn off your brain and get grinding!
    Once you're familiar with the fight, you can speed this up a lot. I did a couple of more clears after this video, using the same team but with more offensive sigils, and they were around 5-6 min each.
    Will try to do "proper" clears with various characters later. I also look forward to trying to solo this in the future (if it's possible).

    Lucilius: I will eliminate you.
    Lancelot: Hwah huh Hwah huh hwah!

    Awesome run! I will say that I also tend to bring it on impulse, but War Elemental is not necessary here as Lucilius is Null Element! Definitely have a free slot here for something better! Keep up the good work, and looking forward to more uploads!

      Thanks!
      Regarding War Elemental, the Sigil description is confusing. It definitely affects Null Element bosses like Baha Versa and Luci. I've tested this in game (just now). In fact, since the latest patch, the damage numbers are now orange against Null Element bosses, indicating "super effective".

    Damn FoF Lancelot is truly the cheese of this game 😭

      It's somewhat balanced by his lower damage while doing Twin Blade Dance spam - though the damage is still not abysmal.
      But yea, if you just want to clear something, FoF Lancey is your man.

    Thank you for this ez method to grind luci! Does the strat also work with other Charakters as AI?

    • @grandskyace
      @grandskyace  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yea all characters are fine as AI as they are all great at dodging. Just some AI characters are better at attacking than others so clear speeds will differ.

    is the 50% damage cut lost from the flight over fight worth the run or should I just run improved dodge?

    • @grandskyace
      @grandskyace  Před 4 měsíci

      It's still possible to cap everything (except SBA) with FoF, but you may need to sacrifice a Supplemental Damage slot if you don't have a good weapon stone.
      There is a huge difference between Improved Dodge and FoF IMO. If you can constantly attack the boss without stopping at all to dodge then you can drop FoF. It'll be hard in a fight like Luci without tons of practice. For most other fights it's probably not worth running.

    Never played Lance but why are you spamming his attack?

    • @Marowakie
      @Marowakie Před 4 měsíci +1

      His unique attack is basically like a dodge + he has flight over fight sigil which makes all his dodges perfect dodges, which will give u invincibility. So by spamming his unique attack, lance can pretty much be invincible 99% of the time.

    • @grandskyace
      @grandskyace  Před 4 měsíci

      Yea, it's really just to abuse whatever invincibility the game has to offer. In addition to Flight over Fight, I also run Nimble Onslaught and Improved Dodge - all which help with this strategy.
      Lastly, I hold down block while attacking, so that when I eventually do miss the dodge, the block kicks in (assuming the attack can be blocked).

      if you run less is more and unequip her skills she will spam air combos into arvess hammer for alot of damage. it will also raise the damage of her sba. she's also able to attack more often as her air loops keep her out of harms way.

    • @grandskyace
      @grandskyace  Před 4 měsíci

      Yea, in this video I had Infinite Wonders equipped but I find that skill-less usually does more damage overall since she goes into her loops more often.
      Having said that, I do find that she dies more often in this fight without a ranged skill. She still barely dies cause the AI is great at surviving, but it makes speedrunning this annoying due to the AI RNG.

    I'm starting to wish this video wasn't posted. I am so tired of seeing terrible Lancelots trying to do this online and failing horribly. My last 5 matches have had 2 Lancys in them. They always die 3-5+ times. They are annoying constantly dashing everywhere, even dashing outside of a Vane bubble for clout but still dying. I hate Lancelot now. Seriously people, learn the mechanics and stop trying to hide from them. I think Grand Sky Ace can perfect this but in my experience no one else has the brain cells.

      Bit surprised to hear people are doing terribly with Lancelot, since the FoF build is supposed to be relatively foolproof...
