- In this video, Patrick talks about Power BI Desktop and role-playing dimensions. Can you even do this in Power BI Desktop? Patrick shows you why one particular way is not recommended as it will cause trouble. And then show you how you can use DAX within Power BI Desktop to take this to the next level.

Maybe you can not understand how much this specific video helped me out.
Nobody can dislike the video or the ideas which you share globally , I can bet on it. Thanks for sharing ,Patrick
Very nice and clear explanation. It's great you show the error messages too, and not just the completed, correct example.
Been using Power BI for only a week. Watching GNC has gotten me through my first report. Thanks Guys!
This is so great. I've been battling this problem and the solution i was using was actually to duplicate out my table and have different relationships for each. It worked pretty well but naturally it increased the size of my model. Not enough that it was a problem, but enough that it hurt my soul a little. Will definitely convert across to this superior method.
You're just awesome Patrick :)
Thanks Patrick I found this helpful! In the past I've used different methods to solve for this one of them being you create a bridge table... But it gets confusing fast
That solves so many issues, thanks 👍
Thank You Patrik. You are a star.
