    WHO ARE WE:
    We're Grant and Bianca and we've been exploring and camping across Australia since 2017. Our dream was to caravan around Australia, and when Bianca was made redundant, we saw that as the perfect opportunity to pursue our dream.
    In March 2021, we hit the road in our Ford F350 American 4x4 Truck, towing our 2003 Bushtracker Off-Road Caravan with our 2 Dogs Frank and Baxter.
    After a year on the road, we realized that caravan life and road tripping were in our blood, and we decided to continue with our journey. We started this channel to document our travels and share the amazing places we've discovered, and the tips we've learned along the way, including the delicious meals we cook on the road, whether in the caravan or over a campfire.
    Join us as we continue our journey through this incredible country and subscribe to our channel for the latest updates on our adventures and the joys of caravaning Australia!

    Emptying the dump- place some rubber gloves with the dumper to assist in getting rid of the unmentionable 🤪👍. Thanks for the fun video once again - most enjoyable- stay safe 🍷🍷

    Great video. My hubby empties the loo the most (I help) but we do have a rule…whoever does #2 has to empty! Works well. If available we usually make an effort to use a toilet nearby! Real life traveling.

    I think e-bikes are great. If you like to ride, I would recommend a “mid mount” with the motor at the pedals rather than a hub motor. You have way more control over how much assistance it gives you and so is more fun to ride. You can choose to have no assistance on the flat and just have it help you up the hills or let it do all the work.
    I converted 2 hard tail mountain bile with kits from a supplier in Melbourne. They both took longer than I expected but I’m no bike mechanic. The advantage of the DIY option is easier availability of parts if you break something. Also you can move it from one bike to the next. I did this when my partner decided she wanted a bike more suited to unpaved trails rather then the “street cruiser” I converted originally. Its cheaper too :-)

      @Livin_Like_Kings_  Před 10 dny

      Awesome, I didn’t realise you can buy one to mount to your existing bike. I’ll have to look into that 😀

  • @rosemaryshepherdsmith5110

    I'm 70 in December and empty the tolet cassette no problem 😊when dad whome was in his 90,s helped at times but even though it is gross it just body waste so I'd rather have a tot then not hey. I dump at nearly every dump point, allways fuel up diesel and water, best to be safe😅

    We've stopped at Castle Glen many times. It's good.

  • @coversadventurecapers2838

    Sorry you didn’t have a good vibe with Bowenville. It’s usually a great place. I think that was an accident that happened for that vehicle. Not thieves related. But the woodshed is a great place. We love the food and drink coma you end up in from exploring the Stanthorpe area.

    Fantastic to catch up with all 4 of you again. See you again on your next lap. Safe travels. 👍

  • @tallboy49
    @tallboy49 Před 7 dny +1

    The big majority of those people at Bowenville reserve are homeless and have no where to go other than living in tents or caravans. It might seem hard to believe but is quite sad to be in this position. And that is a creek at Jondaryan woolshed not a river. The river is a long way from there.

    No no no never empty the toilet that’s my lovely hubbies job. I wouldn’t camp if I had to do it. Shame on you for letting your good lady do that 😊. I changed all the dirty nappies lol now it’s his turn

    Can I ask what mapping system in you truck

    • @Livin_Like_Kings_
      @Livin_Like_Kings_  Před 12 dny

      We mostly just use Apple Maps on my phone and connect it to the truck with Apple play. The truck inbuilt gps is American and doesn’t work here in Australia.

    • @Livin_Like_Kings_
      @Livin_Like_Kings_  Před 12 dny
