I bought the Sony Alpha A6500 with kit lens and Sigma 1.4 prime lens for my channel and other photography!
At 1.4 the Sigma should give me a creamy background and the Sony 16-50 kit lens for my videos should suffice for now. Panasonic G85 autofocus wasn't cutting it so I decided to go a different direction.

Just got my a6500 two weeks ago, it's my first real camera ever! I got this Sigma lens with it as well as the 16mm 1.4.......absolutely LOVING THEM.......how's your stuff holding up????

Shouldve gone with a sony lens, for video autofocus you wont get the same fast experience with the sigma, just personal experience, try the 35mm 1.8 and you wont be disappointed, just place camera further away , congrats on buying a great camera 😊
This package is exactly what i want to buy! is stabilizing and auto focus as good as sony lenses on sigma?
Autofocus slightly slower but it's not bad on the Sigma. I got the Sigma mainly for photography. I use the kit lens for video for this channel.
