Taeyang is the main dancer of BIGBANG and he saw little Lisa when she was auditioning for YG back in 2011. Lisa actually appeared in one of his music videos during her trainee days (RINGA LINGA) as a background dancer in 2013. Here's what he recently said in an interview. It's so sweet!!!
"One special thing is that when Lisa first came to YG, literally when she first came to Korea, I was there working on music and ended up watching her audition. At that time, she was a baby, a young kid who just came from Thailand. She sang “Baby” by Justin Bieber, and it was so endearing. My heart was hurting [laughs]. I really wanted her to succeed. I told our CEO at the time, “I think she will do well no matter what.” I’m not saying she did well because of me or anything like that [laughs]. Watching her become so successful makes me proud. I thought maybe this song would actually be the first to be released. That was the plan. Lisa, thankfully, said OK right away, and that she wanted to be part of the project no matter what."

TAEYANG said, "I didn't mean to be there. I was actually working in my studio at that time. While I worked, somebody told me that a girl from Thailand had come to audition. I was like, 'Oh, okay.' But then on my way home, I walked past the room she was in. So, I just slid myself in."
He continued, "She was so young then. I kind of felt bad, seeing her all alone in a country that she’s unfamiliar with. She flew from Thailand simply for the audition, you know! I still remember which song she sang. It was 'Baby' by Justin Bieber."

Taeyang and Lisa are crazy. This is so smooth. The best collab for me everything is perfect. Listening to Taeyang's music now, i never knew he's this amazing. Lisa is no doubt the best in everything she does but still she never fails to amaze me. I'm in love with her, she's extra sexy when she dances. She's the best performer and a legend like taeyang with her is so so fun to watch.
Male idols now should learn a lot from Taeyang, i'm discovering his music because of this collab he's amazing and his songs are fire. I'm so glad lisa did this collab with him. He is able to get many good artist and that says how good he is without having to spell out both professionally and personally what a wonderful specimen he is. His live performance is insane. YGX uploaded an reaction video of the MV with the dancers and all of then were inspired by Taeyang in their youth because its because of him that all this scene with choreographers and backup dancers began to be more serious in KPOP, since his debut solo album Solar in 2009.
