RNGesus really giving Torchic the finger giving Bulbasaur Hydro Pump. Metrenome has always been one of my favorite moves. Met battles are fun. I still remember getting Aeroblast as some pokemon back in Pokemon Stadium 2.

the way these animations are better than any we are getting on the switch is crazy to me. why can’t pokémon just use this game as inspiration :(((

I agree about the quality of the animations but I think if the modern games had these, the battles would move too slowly. The recent games prioritize speed, which is better suited for today's environment. But then again, they could just include the option to skip animations altogether.
