There are some great innovations here. I can think of a few uses. This will be exciting to follow.
Put a 360 cam on there, couple solar panels, and you got a customer right here.
Noise is one the areas that hinders use of conventional drones. Annother area is crash landing, both these points will be a source of attraction for this .👌📍

Has anyone tried ion-thrust? The absence of moving parts is handy. Maybe tube shaped ones could be directional? The high voltage would be hard to reconcile with hydrogen or methane alternatives and could limit where they can be flown. .

How does it handle wind? Is it primarily an indoor technology ?
It flies autonomously and manoeuvrable with the wind or against. True airspeed currently at 20km/hr. There are also tethered versions for certain use cases.
how does it get higher or lower? ... only with fans? ... doesn't it need to control the Helium quantity (volume) ... somehow? ... like a Hot Air Balloon.
It could, but it would only need to have "zero weight" from the lifting force of the balloon to then use the fans to choose exactly where it wants to go, even vertically.
There are manifold technical options for this.
I was looking at Airships and thinking about the possibilities of turning airships into minaturized drones and just like that some ones already realized it. Great possibilities here. the surveillance applications alone makes this 🤌

Same. Funny that an idea or concept is kind of like a balloon 🎈 floating around above our heads. Some people will see it, and some people won't. The one that builds it and claims it win all the glory. As it should be. I'm just glad someone built what I know I never would.
