    • @xtian384
      @xtian384 Před rokem +4

      well, she is actually putting an oil before the moisturiser, so the DE Protini is completely useless and wasted, I wouldn't really trust what she's doing...

    • @andie1508
      @andie1508 Před rokem +9

      @@xtian384 Depending on the oil, that is actually the correct way to layer skincare products. Caroline Hirons (among many others) has always recommended oil before moisturizer. But from my own research, it basically depends on the oil. Some oils are very heavy and should be applied last. Others are lighter and have smaller molecules and should be applied before moisturizers. Vintner's Daughter is an example of an oil that always goes on BEFORE moisturizer. Also May Lindstrom's and DeMamiel's oils go on first. You just need to do your research with each product.

    • @xtian384
      @xtian384 Před rokem +4

      @@andie1508 in relation to this issue, there are two major types of oil: carrier and occlusive. If it’s a carrier oil, you and Miss Hirons would be correct. But this contains both types of oils, so no, you both are incorrect and wasting your money. Specifically, as you should know by your own “research”, jojoba oil is a very well known sealer.
      Also, Miss Hirons is the same “expert” that says that, if you rub your product on your palms too long it’s going to be wasted because absorbed by your hands, which is impossible since your palms don’t have pores. And she’s supposed to be a “SkIn EXpErT”. Good luck with that.

    • @andie1508
      @andie1508 Před rokem +4

      @@xtian384 wow, got a very unexpected dose of hostility there. Where's it coming from?
      FWIW, CH's recommendation about not rubbing products unduly in your palms before putting them on your face has more to do with wasting products. And yes as anyone can test at home, our pore-less palms can absolutely accept and hold onto skincare products like oils, serums, creams, etc.

    • @xtian384
      @xtian384 Před rokem +4

      @@andie1508 Hostility is in the eye of the beholder.
      Just giving you information based on actual research. Do whatever you want of it. Your waste is not my problem. Jojoba still remains a sealer and will prevent Protini to get absorbed. Wanna waste $70? Go ahead.
      As per CH"s issue, try and rub hand cream on your palms, and see how long it takes to get actual ABSORPTION without them remaining slippery and greasy.
      Good luck with your "research".

People always think that I am much younger, I guess it's also our state of mind, we don't think of getting old that's why we don't get old as fast as those who always complain " omg I am sooo old" 😄Recently I've visited a cosmetologist to get an opinion about my skin condition and she told me, that it looks better than many 30 years old women which I wasn't really expected 🥰she asked me if I had botox on my face - the last time I tried botox just on my forehead was like 14 years ago 🙃your skin is so beautiful, like 25 year old girl ❤

    Do you change this routine depending on the time of year? And do you tend to stick to the same products for a long time or do you update your routine often in general?

    Question… what is the difference between the Glow oil and Brightening serum from Sunday Riley for the vitamin C ????

    I keep hearing you pronounce ceramides differently than I thought it was pronounced. So then I wasn't sure and had to look it up, because I don't want to be pronouncing it incorrectly. I believe it's supposed to sound like Sara mides. I found a resource that says that. You might want to check on that. Thanks for sharing your routine with us.

    please let us know some cheaper alternates! I live in India and these products are not even available here. How about Clinique? or Keihl’s?

    Sephora skin care rep directed me to the caudalie vinyl serum when I asked for vitamin c and she said it’s the only one that has the ability to penetrate skin , she said she wouldn’t recommend anything else for vitamin c. I was wondering how much of that would me correct though. Also wondering how the Sunday Riley compared to the caudalie. Between you are beautiful and your skin looks so good. Just found your channel and I’m so grateful I came across you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

      the Sephora skin care rep lied to you inn order to sell you the product, or she is completely incompetent. Any well formulated L-ascorbic acid serum with a Ph around 3.5 will penetrate and stay inside your skin for 72h, even if you wash your face.

    How long do these products last you? What if you have adult acne do you suggest this routine?

    Omg, easy with the towel. It was very harsh on the skin, redness appeared immediately. Try tapping the water instead.

    Such a great routine. Are there any drugstore under eye serums and creams and face creams you recommend?

      Thank you! I can across an eye cream by Acure this summer in the USA- it’s from Target and I love it. It has green on its label. I can’t think of the name of it offhand. I’m a big fan of the brand Andalou- all the ingredients are great and the formulas are effective too.
