Hi I'm from the Caribbean, just trying to help, my advice basically you just need a whole coconut not just that part of it. So a dried one would probably be best, and honestly just put it outside somewhere... It would eventually sprout. Or that's what I've seen. The fallen coconuts just sit there and eventually just start growing. And well they're usually kinda dry when they fall.

I'm from the Caribbean to what u saying is true but it could still be planted as a dry coconut but she don't need to put it in water jus rest it in the yard

@@celinehamilton6013You guys are ignoring the fact that me aswell as her are from Canada, we can’t just leave it outside, it isn’t the same climate. Even if it was the same climate it has the husk removed when you buy them from the supermarket, which makes it very hard to grow.

Just an fyi no shade coconuts actually have water inside and it becomes coconut milk after you you blend it with the flesh and strain the chunks out
