I am just in awe of the Upsy Downsy toys, please do a video of these, I adore them so so much I remember having all the books, still have a few. And Ashley your doll is just adorbs I would love a Little Lulu doll, I loved those comics as a kid. Thanks for sharing all these treasures, when your mom showed us the doggie doll the first thing that came to my mind was Pinkie Cooper.

The Northern Ohio Doll and Teddy Bear Show is in Strongsville Ohio. It is held at the Best Western motel in February and August. Lots of tables and all types of dolls. Rarely come away empty-handed. Been watching you for awhile now. You're very informative. Especially liked your close-up of the new truly me dolls at the pop-up store. Helped me on a decision for the 2 I purchased.
Your poodle isn't even dirty, like most I've seen! Swweet! And grats on getting more childhood dolls. I love those old thirties character dolls. I don't think I've ever seen one in person, but they're SO cool, and such a departure from the pretty little kids that were made previously. I like the features like the mix of floss and painted hair. GOJIRA CONVENTION???? ARRRGGHH. Sorry for shouting.
I’m thrilled to see you ladies again. We were so disappointed that we didn’t get to go to the show this year. My husband’s father passed away and the funeral was the day before the show so we weren’t thinking clearly just yet. It’s been a difficult journey for us but he’s resting now finally. Hopefully your are all well and your little one is growing like a weed. Great finds as usual. I know you said regular Barbie clothes won’t fit but how about the Barbie that is heavier? Maybe her clothes would fit. Ashley, your doll is adorable. I wish I knew someone from that time period. Unfortunately, they have all passed away. I’m sure my MIL would have known something about the character. I once knew a lady who was amazing at researching dolls. If you want me to look into it more let me know. Jan
I didn't know anything about Upsy Downsy dolls. They are pretty pricey, but I love the bright colors too. The comic book doll is adorable! I just bought a little Buffy doll with Mrs. Beasley. She's in very good condition. Never knew she existed, but I had to have her. I got her for $35.
Love the unique compo comic strip doll! Lots of personality! Congrats on getting the Peteena - I’ve wanted one for years so I know how expensive they can be. Don’t remember the Upsy-Downey sets but they look very cute and colorful!
Glad your little one cooperated for you to be able to look. It was crowded so I wondered how she did. We were glad to see you guys but I always run into you before you have your haul so I like to watch and see what you ended up getting. I bought more than I planned but I found some I really wanted. I got a Tutti and Chris doll, both in really good condition in their outfits. I got an AA baby CRISSY which I had wanted and an original CRISSY with her box and instructions. Then I bought a large size Madame Alexander with the Maggie face and the lady made me a deal for a smaller M.A. doll and a Toni doll. Thought I was headed out when my son wanted to go back and look at one more thing. As we are headed there I found a guy selling baby face dolls and he had the 2 I have been wanting. So of course I had to bring them home. May have to behave for a while now. Between my dolls, my husbands comics and my sons GI joes, we left with a car full. I know what you mean about the doll vendors though. I liked it better when they were all in the one building but I think there are more than we think, just spread out. The baby face seller had half his booth with dolls and the other half was all action figures. I like the ladies with the upsey/Downsey stuff. I have never seen those in person. I always buy from them too. Anyway, always good to see you both. Take care.

I know Georgia’s a good bit away but we just recently had toylanta and this year was my first time going and they had a huge area of action figures and more “boy” properties that I didn’t pay to much attention too but they had so many vintage gi joes and a awesome seller with tons of bionic woman and six million dollar man toys with most still in the package and a TON their booth literally looked like a old toy shelf they had so many minty nib multiples. As far as dolls there was a handful and some would be really good in prices and one wanted 500 for haunt couture draculaura 😬 but saw a ton of Jem dolls most incomplete and g1 ponys and other things along that time frame. Scored a nib lookin smart Maxie, her vanity set and western Barbie for 50 bucks all together from this one seller! Georgia also has the Atlanta doll collectors show coming up may 20th which I’ll be a first time seller there and they always have a large reform group, tonner, gene, tons of Barbie. Also a lot of dig through bins of variety. However the peach tree doll show would be the one to go to out of all. I went for the first time last year and was surprised to see how big it was! It was held in a church’s basketball gym and it was about three maybe four rows and a room full of extras and the place had the best variety! Saw nib talking ken, antique dolls, collector Barbie, a box with every littlechap fashion pack nib! Next time I go I’ll have to document it better. There wasn’t any my scene or Bratz really found one lady who goes by thrift stores and just buys up all the bags of Barbie’s and cleans em and dresses em and sells them for $5 I believe and she had probably 20 of those cardboard office boxes FILLED with dolls. She had one tiny thing of Bratz and Bratz pieces and she wanted 25 cents for each piece of clothing and I wanna say a dollar a doll? The biggest score was finding a nib fairy queen teresa from the swan lake movie! So if y’all ever get the chance to visit Georgia I definitely recommend the peach tree show!

They're from Ikea, DETOLF glass-door cabinet. Some of the newer cases have been reported to be not made very well. These are from years back!
