Absolutely breathtaking! Brand new scuba diver. We have been in Cozumel the past 6 days. We did a total of 8 dives! I can't wait to come back and see it again!!! I will have a camera of some sort for the next dive!
I'd recommend a GoPro and a water proof housing! Glad to hear that you've joined the scuba diver community!!! Carry on diving!!

I dove Palankarmreef around 10 years ago. Your video shows that the reef system around Cozumel is still alive and kicking !! Great video,..lotsa fish life and good,corals. I might try and go there again. Ozumel,is better than Playa De Carmen for diving.
It definitely is better than the mainland!

Hi Bob and Dori! Lovely to hear from you! How are you both? We had some great dives there in Cozumel, especially with eagle rays but the water was so chilly! We’re now in the Maldives and the water is warm!

Beautiful beautiful video I’ve been to Cozumel like 20 times. Can you tell me which area is this so next time I go diving and add them to take me to this place
Most of the dives were around the Palancar area., fairly close to the Occidental resort. The weather and sea conditions kept us mainly in that area for the two weeks we were diving there as it was close to the resort where ProDivers were based.
Gerry Thanks for sharing your amazing videos with the world. I am going scuba diving in Cozumel next month. Can please me what dive shop you dive with there?
We have used three different dive shops over the years. Scuba Tony is a small company with a max of 6 divers in the boat/group. We really liked those but prefer a bigger boat. Palancar divers is a bigger company with bigger boats and we’ve always been happy with them. Last time we used Pro Divers and they were OK as well but we didn’t like the entry and exits from the boat docking at the resort pier. Have a great time there!

Never been on November but I don’t see why not!
Great video, what dive shop did you go with?
We were staying at the Occidental so we dived with ProDivers as they were on site. They were OK but the boat was tricky to get on and off from the pier. Maybe it was because of the time of year, jow/high tides and poor sea conditions. But it was GREAT diving!!!

I can’t find a name on it, but it’s a slide on deep filter for a GoPro9 underwater housing. It comes in a pack of three, shallow, deep and green. I use the deep when I’m diving unless I use my lights and then I slide the filter off. Weren’t the eagle rays great!!!

I see you used a gopro9 what kind of light set up did you use?
I use two Sealife Seadragon 2500 lights for some of the shots or a red filter when I’m not using the lights. We saw some great stuff there, especially the eagle rays, but the water was chilly in March!

The Eagle Rays are majestic for sure. I can imagine it was a little chilly in March. haha I'm all about the full wetsuit even in August.

I use Cyberlink Power Director.

Did you use any filters on your gopro?
I use either a red filter or video lights, depending on what I’m videoing.
