- Based on the classic Okko Diablo, this Gregor Hilden model comes with a set of new controls that affect the way it reacts to your playing. The Dynamic control adjusts the internal voltage, increasing the headroom thereby resulting in less compression, tighter bass and more punch. Feed controls low frequencies in the input signal allowing tight and transparent sounds even with the fattest sounding neck pickups.
The Body control adds low mids in the first gain stage for thick, singing lead sounds. An Input 3-position-mini switch sets the sensitivity of the input gain stage. Mids changes frequencies in the tone control. The Boost section is an independent circuit that controls the master volume (gain is set fixed).
Today we’re demoing the Okko Diablo GH on a Magnatone Varsity Reverb combo.

Amazing presentation!!! Who still knows Godzilla from BOC!
Thanks a bunch! Blue Öyster Cult rocks.!
I own this pedal and I have to say it's the finest overdrive pedal I've ever owned. Sounds amazing with single coils & buckers and any amp I play through (Fender Twin, Tweed 5e3 hand wired, Friedman Dirty Shirley to name a few).
Wow, what a great video. Thanks
Thats a great demo. Sounds fantastic. Thumbs up.
Thanks Jimmy Joe. Appreciate it.
Great tones !
Super playing :)
Thanks Fabrizio.
Godzillaaaa!!!!!

First riff from which song? I know the second is from Godzilla..
Transmaniacon MC of Blue Öyster Cult's debut album.
BOC woo hoo!
Sounds muddy as frick in high Gain settings. This pedal shines best for purist blues, Rock'n'Roll and all that kind of stuff also with an echo added... Surfin' sounds.
OKKO GH it's much better than Okko Diablo
My confusion is how can a pedal that sounds so good when played by everyone else and a player who is obviously talented sound wrong, I'm sorry to say, I didn't like anything I heard here, nothing sound good to me, the playing and everything was sterile, all the face pulling and technique but emotionless to me.
Agreed. And what's with the over the top stink-face ? Whoever stole his ukulele, please give it back.
