I hope your homeschooling experience is better than mine. My experience could have been better. I was put into homeschooling at the start of 6th grade, but before that, I went to an actual school. When I went to school, everything was going well. I played baseball and basketball, had friends, went out to places, had good grades, and it was a good experience. After I was put into homeschooling, everything changed... I lost contact with my friends; I dropped sports and wasn't forced into doing any schoolwork, so I literally spent every day playing games. I was essentially a hermit because I had no life. I became sad and depressed because I had nothing and nobody except for my online friends and family. I missed out on what was supposed to be the greatest years of a person's life. I didn't experience teen romance, fun parties, sports, prom, or even a proper graduation. All I got to do for graduation was stand in front of my door with a graduation gown and cap and put on a fake smile for a single photo. It didn't feel earned, and it didn't feel like an accomplishment or a milestone. But after this, I started college with a fresh mind because now was the chance to start something new. So I started college, made a couple of friends, got into a relationship, and I have a 3.80 GPA 😅 I'm much better now, but it was a struggle. I hope your experience is much better because I would hate it if you or anyone else experienced what I went through. Homeschooling has a lot of pros, but only if done right. Anyway, you've got yourself a new sub.😄

I used to be homeschooled because my old school…it made me feel like I was not enough. It made me so upset and most of the time I would come home after walking with my mum and sister, and just run to my room to cry my heart out. It was so horrible. I wasn’t even a teenager. I was only 7 to 9 years old. (my mum always walked with me and my sister to and from school) and now I’m at a school that is made specifically for kids that struggle like me. I’m an AUDHD girl, meaning I’m autistic and have ADHD.
