  • This wreath is gorgeous, a Pinterest triumph!
    Supplies:
5 rolls of yellow 10in deco mesh (Hobby Lobby)
1 roll of green 10in deco mesh
1 foam ball, cut in half
    Brown Paint (FolkArt, Raw Umber)
2 packs of brown pom poms (Hobbly Lobby)
    Yellow Pipe Cleaners
    16in frame
    E6000 glue
    E6000 glue spray
    Paperclips or floral pins
Keep in mind that I didn't use the entire roll of mesh, to keep the petals less curly.

I really enjoyed watching your video and you showing exactly how the petals are put together and put on and for NOT taking and hour and a half to do it! (to make the video) Ugh! I feel I miss a lot on other videos.. because I can't sit and listen to everything some of these people talk about- on and on and on! You were informative, to the point and interesting. Thank you SO much! And it turned out beautiful! I love the all yellow as well. Happy wreathing!! :)

Lovely, Jen, that was a great idea with the plastic cross stitch mat, ( all the way to the edge of the center of the wreath) . Those large frames have a Huge center opening. This totally eliminated that open space ..Thanks, again : )

I've never made a wreath and I think this is going to be my first attempt! I have a friend that loves sunflowers, so I'm going to attempt this for her (and another for her cousin if the first comes out good), then a third one for my brother and new sister-in-law. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew! wish me luck!

    Jen,
I just discovered your video while searching for a way to make decorations for an event. Your wreath is beautiful, and exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to make several of them, but on a 10 inch wreath frame. What size do you think the petals should be for this adjustment?...and how far apart should I space the petals?
    Many thanks!

    • @LosingItWithJen
      @LosingItWithJen  Před 6 lety

Thanks for watching. I think that cutting the petals at 8in. would work great. As far as placing them, every 1in would look nice.

I'm not sure of the exact size, but you'll know when you go to pick one up. They were either too small, too big, or just right (LOL). The pom poms were the medium size and I bought 2 small packages. Hope this helps, thanks for watching.
