    Interesting. I just started using my brand new HTVRont and it actually goes up to 199-seconds. Great video!

      Thanks you for watching, and for your lovely feedback ,it's much appreciated. How wonderful that HTVRont updated the timing to go up to 199 seconds! I purchased my heat press when it was in the kickstarter phase, so it was one of the first to be manufactured . I'm glad they listened to the feedback and updated it.

    thank you for the tutorial. I'm actually working on doing some of these as memorials - my sister passed two weeks ago and I wanted to make memorials for my other siblings.

    Super cute! BTW - I don't think the teflon sheet is necessary. Butcher paper is all you should need. And then you shouldn't have any issue with sticking in between presses.

    I just got my HTVront press and tried the ornaments but the back side of the ornament has yellow lines from the heat tape.

      What a bummer about the heat tape marks! I attached the tape to the sub paper rather than the back of the ornaments. Sometimes the heat tapes are poor quality too, but we'd have no way of knowing. Hopefully next time you try you don't get marks. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it.

    Question: I couldn't tell for sure but did you remove the heat pad from the press?

    • @poppycitrus
      @poppycitrus  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Hi there and thanks for watching! I.did remove the heat pad that comes with the heat press and replaced it with a black 15 x 15 heat pad that is not soft like the HTVRont one, but also is featured on other heat presses. I hope that makes sense? I got mine from Amazon

      @@poppycitrus thanks for responding! I may need to look into something like that myself!

      A pleasure! The heat press works better with a firmer pad.

      @@poppycitrus Did the original pad cause shadows to the design after sublimating? I’m having shadow issues, just used it one time on 100% polyester t towels from Hobby Lobby. I have contacted the service dept. waiting for response. I thank you for your time.

      @joycemclaurin1704 Sorry for late response. I still have my original heat pad from the heat press. I use the original pad for textile type blanks, and I use my firm 15 x 15 heat pad for rigid items. I strongly suggest taping the item to the sub paper as firmly as you can, and that way you may get less ghosting. I hope this helps!

    Are the ceramic ornaments sublimation ready or are they just regular ceramic?
