- As I'm playing through KOTOR for the first time, I stumble upon a Rancor. Little did I know, I could just sneak past it, but don't worry guys, I went all out and just defeated it straight up, thanks to frag grenades. Enjoy!

Love this game!
Ive never not done cheap shots with the rancor. Would always set mines and run away, throw a grenade them leave the room, take advantage of the rancor ai. Etc..
LOL!! I look forward to future rancor encounters in this game (I hope there are more)

There are more incredible encounters throughout the game so u dont have to get ur hopes down haha

Yea its funny u did it somehow anyway since officialy there was a different way to kill him which was put some grenades in the corps and he would eat it and die, but glad u did it anyway haha
How would you get him to eat from the corpse pile?
@@ClosedonSunday Once u put the ion grenade it was called iirc theres a cutscene where he walks to it eats it and dies immediately after

@@ClosedonSunday Yea later on there are choices that change a lot of outcomes but i wont spoil it for u since you'll learn it yourself.
Really cant wait till u get of taris, The game picks up very Quick after taris haha
If you loot the severed arm right before going into the Rancor room, you'll find a datapad and some scent vials. You have to leave one of the vials in the corpse pile with a grenade (from what I can tell, any type works)
