I wonder what he did the last years of his life as I understand he moved back to Wells and had spend all the money. Actually Midge Ure was the musical genius behind Visage but Steve had the perfect voice for there music...
I just can't believe Steve left us. it was so quick, so rude and I just was waiting for amazing event with him and Visage regarding his last album who seems as a tribute now ... it's so sad, it's unfair and it's terrible !!! Au revoir Steve tu ne seras jamais jamais jamais Fade To grey : JAMAIS !!! so sad ..........

I am very suprised, It seems that Steve had Helicobacter for which he had not received correct treatment. Less than year from this interview Steve dies from a heart failure. Now, there is supported evidence that untreated Helicobacter Pylori is also related with cardiovascular risk factors such as ischaemic heart disease, I am very sorry if this is the case because then his passing was highly unecessary and tragic, also from a medical point of view. Helicobacter is easily treated if you get the right diagnosis, preferably from a medical doctor. I really find Steve a very nice guy and had I heard this I now heard from this interview I would never hesitated a second to force him to a doctor for testing and treatment. Helicobacter is a VERY serious disease.
Thanks for bringing this to are Attention, it's real sad , and disgusting. The Medical Profession is Zero these days, so much Neglect . Poor Steve . 😢💔
I loved visage but midge ure was the backbone of it. I read midge ure's biography and he'd had enough of Steve and frankly i don't blame, Steve just went off the rails doing some real dumb shit. Wish Steve would bury visage, it's been so milked so many times now now.
Watching totp reruns on bbc 4 shows his music was cool, unlike bucks fizz.
