If you can make a 10 inch group with 1 hit center mass and the rest are scattered, you’re accurate but not precise. My factory new Ruger Max 9 had this same issue with the site. Put the slide in a padded vice and just drifted it over with a hammer and punch. I would have used this tool though if I had it.
The front sight blade always stays stationary. Windage adjustments are made by moving the rear sight in the direction you want the group to go. The front sight is only adjusted for elevation by changing the height of the blade.

My 1911 scared the hell out of me when the rear sight literally slipped off. Come to find out the set screws were loose. So I aligned it and poured locktight in the threads and screws have ran over 2k rounds with no issues. This video is awesome.
@@thebathroombandit - Not really. I shot High-power rifle for years. With the sun out you could see the bullet arc to the target, and it’s trail in the wind. The speed of light is way faster than the speed of sound.. I shot .308 mostly, with a Garand; then .223 with a match conditioned AR-15.
To sight in any firearm move the rear site the direction of the bullet, front sight the opposite direction of the bullet, put it simply & easy to remember 👍

Even in complete darkness my Woman knows where to reach if something goes bump in the night. Law enforcement does not eff around with those plastic sights, but go ahead and use your light as an excuse to keep those plastic sights son.
What i find funny is that one of the common designs of airsoft glocks has a screw attaching the rear sights to the slide through the bottom, in addition to the friction fit. I found this out because i was putting an rmr on both my real and airsoft version and it took me about 5 minutes with the sight replacement tool to realize the airsoft one would not budge lol
That is a really cool tool. I actually had a rear sight on a Glock shift on me several times and used a 5.56 round to fix it then I swapped to Trijicon sights after the 2nd time
Cool! What I really need is a handgun frame that's contoured to make the whole top of the gun angle slightly to the right. I'm left eyed, but right handed. When I use a handgun, I need to hold it further to the left than most people to line it up with my dominant eye. I need a frame that corrects for this by angling the gun slightly so I don't need to bend my wrist outward at an odd angle. It's a shame there's so few products for left eyed shooters who still want too use the gun right handed.
I just do some percussive maintenance with the old soft plastic hammer and she dials in nicely. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like nails 😂
Shouldve added some adhesive and made that thing stay. Iron sights that easily move really suck. I have one that has no sights because it came off and i just took the front off as well. It helped me learn how to shoot really well with lining the back of the slide to my target or ghost shots but i still like the option of a sight

Bought a new glock and had the shop install trijicon nightsights with a pusher and put a gouge in it ! I just hammer them around anymore!
