Love the review! Also LOVE the fact it's got large digits! I hate breaking out those pesky reading glasses that I always forget are on top of my bald head! Gee wilikers! And the night vision is "rad" (I think that's what the kids say nowadays) cuz I can't see at night especially when I'm driving my coupe Deville! Gotta get this for one of my snow ploughers! Thanks!
Gotta love that old man text. No glasses needed! Thanks for watching!
great video. Can you turn it off when your done using it?
After seeing where the replacement battery goes, your decision to use the velcro was smart. Love the wire loom, too. It definitely looks factory that way. Excellent job. Well done.
Going to come handy with monitoring rpms with the next couple mods i plan on doing.
John, love the videos, very helpful... Are you still planning on upgrading the coil, and if so posting? I am researching that now and have some leads, but always appreciate your videos and how easy they are to follow
I have it on the HSS project list. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
Holding the M & S buttons down for 3 seconds will power the unit off for you and preserve battery life.
Have you noticed any changes in the battery life (starter battery) once you began using the heated grips? You may have made another modification to help with this… cant recall.
Hi John a ? On the tach is it 1pr1
You have it set for 1p1r, the engine (GX 270) is 4 stroke single cylinder, shouldn't it be set for 1p2r ?
Have you compared RPM's between this new unit and the wireless? I've done a lot of Amazon tach research and a lot of the low cost units seem to not be correctly calibrated... being off 100-150 rpm either way could be a big deal.
Great point i should of shown that. You can adjust them with more or less turns of the spark plug wire. I did exactly 5 turns. This one is dead on with my higher grade Tech-Tach wireless. Check out my rejetting videos to compare. Thanks for watching!
Question.....does it keep good time ......the same as the hour meter that came with your blower?
So far yes. thanks for watching!
How can i reset total hours? Thanks
Just got mine in the mail. The only thing I don't like about it, is there's no power button! Do you know if it loses all your settings if you shut it off?
it keeps a memory
Does this device shows time when motor working? Or it shows time only when bike is on stop?
It shows the time when off or on. Thanks for watching!
I know my question is 2 years after video posting, but how is the battery life on the meter? Thank you in advance.
Dead after 1 year. Thats why i conveniently put it on top with velcro. Easy access
I got one mt 499c scooter
Where did you put the heat sensor?
heat sensor for what? its a tach...
@@JohnFrancoNH it reads rpm and and engine temp...
How the hell you turn it on!?
Comment.......the rpm's seem a little high compared to what it sounds like. It does not sound that fast.
did not even notice honestly. thanks for watching!
jesus what next
Stay tuned and find out! Thanks for watching!
Manned mission to Mars.

Invention of the wheel.
