Auto people - they will charge like any thing and if you new to city they will loot people like anything. Even if you ask address they will try to say it's so far no bus facility is there, and they will say come will drop you and if you say no they will change the tone and start behaving very badly.
Rapido is really doing good and helps all type of people and pick and drop is hassle free. I will fully support Rapido and user-friendly business model and it will be better if rapido captain are user electric vehicles for the service. And it will become eco- friendly as well.

This auto guys very bad in Bangalore once early morning I was came from Kerala to Bangalore Shanthinagar bus stop many auto drivers came in running towards bus door asking every one for auto I need to go Shanthinagar 8th cross so I asked them they said come sir will go i went Sat in auto he not ready to put meter and he asked me 400 Rs that's not 2 kilometre also, day before yesterday I was standing near domluru under bridge there many auto standing one girl came and asked to go for KFC signal indira nagar that also may be 2 kilometre auto guy asking her 280 Rs these are only few examples
So people are not going to other options these auto guys are making them to go for other options even in OLA uber auto also they do same and first they ask for where to go after that they cancels ride

It's true there are bad and unprofessional drivers who extort money using the helplessness of passengers , but we need to have the least sense that these kind of selfish people are found next to you in every walk of life, not just the auto rickshaw department..
There are drivers who respond to your bloody emergencies at any given time and place and you know that with your own personal experiences..
Your kid maybe using your next door auto for school , your auto driver friend may have helped you to hospital with your aging parents at dire times , an unknown
auto driver may have towed your bike to a petrol pump or a garage or helped your family get home safe in heavy rains ..
So whoever is blaming auto drivers for being too rude and exploitative must also know that there are apps like ola uber and also rapido auto for that instance wherein the fares are pre defined..
And if in the case of a direct hiring then the fare is also clearly mentioned in government orders ie. a minimum fare of 30 rupees and thereafter 15 rupees per kilometer.. and yet if the driver demands more you have the whole details of the driver displayed on a POLICE VERIFIED IDENTIFICATION CARD from their respective local POLICE STATION at the passenger's seat which has in clear writing that you can call the police and inform them immediately. .
