    Did you hear about the two baked beans that hitchhiked around Australia? They ended up in Cairns.

    Roothy used Black and Gold cat food for yabby bait. Just poked a few holes in the tin and it caught yabbies.

    The Coffee shop, use to be the Mungindi St John Ambulance Hall, back when I was a kid back in the early 70's. Use to have an old M1 or M2 Landrover Ambulance.

    If you have already been ther then please disregard but there is a park across the road from the silos and they have a little wall and on it is a button as they have there own song. You can even park the same side as the silos and then go back to the park and use the man made picture frame to get a photo of ya car with the silos or take it with out the car. Have a good one.

    160 kms to Goondiwindi or 46 kms to St George. Wondering why you didn’t go to St George.

      @JS_Adventure  Před rokem

      Being a big shop for us we needed a coles, St George only has the iga which can be hit and miss. Plus we’ve been to St George but haven’t been to Goondiwindi

    How does the Avan go on dirt roads? I’m looking at getting one but wanting to know how it handles the road with the adventure pack!

    • @JS_Adventure
      @JS_Adventure  Před 10 měsíci +1

      We’ve only had it down dirt/corrugated roads a handful of times but has handled great! We have let the tyres down each time to help the leaf suspension out and just driven to conditions and haven’t had a problem! My thinking is that 15-20 years ago these sort of vans (leaf sprung, non offroad vans) were dragged everywhere offroad and never really had a problem as long as they were driven to conditions, being the adventure pack they are (hopefully) a bit stronger than standard!

      @@JS_Adventure awesome…great to know! I would love a van with independent suspension and lightweight but they aren’t a combo easily found. Thanks for the quick reply it’s the info I needed. Cheers mate and enjoy the adventures.
