  • If you have a hedgehog, hamster, rat, sugar glider, rabbit, guinea pig, or another small animal, they would LOVE to snuggle up in this reversible fleece snuggle bag! There are no exposed seams for tiny nails to get stuck in, and it can be made in any size for any size animal. This is a super easy (and super fast) beginner sewing tutorial. Bonus: At the end, I show you how to sew an invisible seam, also called a ladder stitch.

    You are so delightful! I’m a very old lady and live alone, unable to have any pets. It gets lonely, so I keep myself busy making useful or happy things to give to people. Watching tutorials helps me not only learn new skills, but also kind of keeps me company. So I just want to let you know that you brought a lot of joy to me today with your precious personality. I just said a prayer for God to bless you. With fondness, VeeBee.

    My mom found your AMAZING video for me when told her how worried I was about providing warm places for my 8 guinea pig rescues this winter. It was going to cost me hundreds to purchase snuggle sacks. Thanks to your video, mom and I are well on our way for me to have enough for them to use, be needing washed, and extra ones to be on standby. I'm so proud of what we've managed to do for $50 compared to over $400 for my little babies. Plus the feeling of pride that my mom and I did that feels awesome, all thanks to you for taking the time and caring enough to make this video. Now I'm not as worried about money, plus any I did save will go to other needs and wants for them. Thanks again from my mom and me and my 8 guinea pigs!!!💜🥰

    God bless you for this video thank you so much! I have a new Guinea pig who is very shy 🙈 and I wanted to make him something comfy. You are AMAZING at teaching this I have been watching a lot of sewing videos this week (I’m making fleece liners and such) and you are very clear and descriptive and you actually gave me a chance to write down the dimensions before you moved on. Thank you!! Subscribing 😋

      What a great idea!! When you put the two separate pieces together, that would be the time to add a strap. I'll add this to my list of videos to make!

    What type and brand name is the machine you are using? I’m borrowing a friend’s old Janome 2206 and it can’t get through the thick layers. I need to purchase my own machine to do this (and embroidery). Any suggestions? Thank you so much.

    what's the type of fleece your using!?

    • @drinkandsewthings4806
      @drinkandsewthings4806  Před 3 lety

      I usually use anti-pill fleece but sometimes also use Blizzard which is much fuzzier! If I do use Blizzard, I usually do only one of the two bags so that the snuggle sack has one more fuzzy and one less fuzzy. Putting two of the fuzzier ones together makes it harder to sew for me. 😊
