I thought it was all a dream
I saw this movie when i was like 4-5. Only parts of the movie stayed in my memory for years and now i found it just cuz i heard Magic by Pilots and knew it had to be in this movie. It’s been years man. Wow. Nobody knew wtf i was talking about when I mentioned this movie and ask if they knew the name of it.
SAME THATS LITERALLY WHY I CAME TO LOOK AT THIS TRAILER JUST TO CHECK IT WAS REAL
I’m so glad I found this, I thought I was crazy and accidentally made a movie in my head
Was that a reference? :0
@@Kiro_I0 my grandma had the dvd and I completely forgot about this. It was my favourite film and the only thing I remembered from it was the song 'Mr Blue Sky'
after reading these comments, its like we all lived the same life. me and my little brother watched this movie when we were like 3-4 and it took me a long time to find it. nostalgia overload.. unlocked so many memories.
Me too, me too
Maybe we are magically connect.
so many I didn't want this movie haunted me
Omg finally found it... I have so many little memories of this film and I thought I was insane
SAME
same
ME TOO! I THOUGHT I IMAGINED IT
u and me both man
Did anyone else just try to search the scene with the roundabout covered in ice? That’s literally the only scene that stuck in my head
Yes lmao 🤣
the intro was the scariest thing in the world
SAME
SAME!! That’s the only part I remember and the train lol
LITERALLY SAME
This film was a madness. Who remembers the skeleton fight scene
I literally looked up “animation movies made in early 2000s with red spring character” to find this movie and I was hype asf when I did lmaooo been lingering in my mind for so long
I literally thought this movie was a fever dream
Because it was a fever dream
I saw this too, based on the 1970s show.
I was shit scared of this movie when i was younger
I still am
same, like idk why but every time i remember it it just gives me so much anxiety and i wanna cry
I still am at 18
Same😂
SAME BEUH
Watched this when I was a child… been looking for it for years! I loved this movie and nobody I’ve talked to has seen it. I was beginning to think I dreamed it!
I used to absolutely love this film so much
i literally watched this film at least 50 times when I was younger. So much nostalgia
I remember seeing this when I was like 4 or 5, the movie experience didn’t feel real, but I vaguely get vividly remembered it, it was almost like a fever dream, that has been stuck in my head for years, and every time I searched this I couldn’t find it, until it hit me; “red and blue spring Christmas movie”
this movie is actually a fever dream, i had it on DVD and watched it all the time as a kid but i couldn't tell you a single thing that happened in it
Same thing for me
My fever dream movie was Oliver and Company
I legit tried to find my dvd of this movie for years and even just tried to remember the name of it and then now I just randomly think "The Magic Roundabout" outta no where and looked it up and finally found it
Me too, I have dvd of it but i lost it when I was a kid so idk the title. After 14 years, I remember some scenes and characters in it so I search "Children movie ice and fire carousel" and it successfully pop, I'm happy wanna rewatch it.
FINALLY AFTER SO LONG I FOUND MY CHILDHOOD
Finally found it! Nostalgia!
Its cool that the trailer voiceover guy narrates the uk and us version, except he voices tv spots only for us version
The further i get in this trailer the more i remember. Until this point i thought it was a fever dream.
This is my whole childhood I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG
I will always remember when I went to see this movie with my father! I was 4 years old, and when the movie ended and we went out, it had snowed during the movie and everything was covered in snow! What an incredible magical vision for the child that I was
How cool is that it's on the must see list for me.
Snow
There is also an infamous US dub of the film released in 2006, entitled "Doogal".
I am aware of that, and I instantly hated the US dub when I watched it.
@@tppercival5295, the US version is infamous, and I like the UK version.
@@danielfotheringhamproducti7368 the reboot wasn't insignificant at all
I had a dvd of it. I think I still do.
@@tppercival5295 not to mention that monster Harvey Weinstein was in charge of that movie😒
I have been trying for years to find this movie, I searched up songs I thought were in it but today I finally remembered the frozen roundabout scene and here we are, glad I’m not the only one who thought it was a dream😂
This was released 8 days after I was born and I genuinely thought I made it up in my head😂
Great I finally found it my best childhood memories with my mom dad and siblings are in this movie and a few others☺️
I watched this when I was 7, 1-2 years after its release. I knew what this movie was and remembered it.
The movie that lingered in my mind (like this has for so many of you) was Oliver and Company, I watched it many times between the ages of 2 and 4, at that age you're starting to develop a memory, not a very good one though as I forgot the movie except 1 scene at the start, it was quite a scary movie for a child.
Watching it back as an adult it's a classy work of art with funny characters and lots of style.
I remember watching this as a kid with my cousins. I can’t remember a thing except the frozen carousel. I was so young lmao
Looking back this movie Is quite good despite the "hate" this movie gets.
Does it feel like a fever Dream? Yes.
Does it stop you from liking it? No.
We are all here for the same reason. We thought we had had a dream, but then thought that maybe it was a film and looked it up.
2005: The year the magic got *EPIC*
I miss the 2000’s years because I remember the opening VHS at the UK
I have like 2 small memories of this film. Been looking for it for years. Literally started to think I made it all up
I watched this film a few days ago with my younger cousin, such good memories
Holy shit did they blow the budget on that cast
I loved the magic roundabout
The UK or US versions?
Uk
Man, I feel like after watching this UK trailer I realized I watched Doogal in theaters when I was a kid by mistake-
...I'm so sorry Magic Roundabout fans 😓
The bit where the 2 moustache guys fought at the end used to really bother me when I was younger 😂
this is incredible, i shed a tear while watching this. cinematic masterpiece ❤️
The only part of this movie that stuck with me since I was about 5 was the part there they played that "oh oh oh it's magic" song
did anyone else has a carousel like ride at their local brewsters (brewers fayre UK thing) growing up that played the theme song or just me😭
I was searching to find this movie for a long time, I knew it had some weird feeling that was beyond what the film was actually about.
I just randomly remembered a "magical movie with a spring guy" when I just heard Magic by Selena Gomez. I can't believe I remembered and found this movie after seeing it at least 15 years ago 😂
The magic roundabout wasn't a insignificant reboot back then when television didn't suck. Reboots are made for to improve the old version in a unforgettable way
Yooooo the Jimmy Here movie!
1:30
This line has been in my mind for 14 years!!!!!
Half of us were born between 2000-2005
I loved this when I was younger maaaan
Came out a month before I was born, how do I remember watching this at all 😂
they have to remakes this. they HAVE TO.
They're currently making a new CGI series
I thought i was dreaming when i watched this as a child i couldnt find it till now
This was my third favourite film as a child, behind only by Brother bear and Finding Nemo. THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD
i loved brother bear
I love Shrek 2 and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie
Bop of a film. Childhood classic
Memories...
I took a long time trying to find this movie and I can’t believe I found it while seeing what movies John Krasinski played in😭
Yes Jimmy
My childhood fillllmmmm
Same, i just randomly remembered this film and decided to watch this
Omg this movie was real! I thought it was all in my head
My last movie i watch before i have my consciousness as a 5 yr
Having the same experience with such many people is just crazyyyy. I can't even describe what I am feeling right now. It's weird
UK version: It's awesome!
US version: Butch Hartman screwed up the voices 'cause they refer to a lot of movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Thomas The Tank Engine, and all other films and shows!
Speaking of Pirates of the Carribean...
I heard that Bill Nighy who voices Dylan in this movie also plays Davy Jones from that film series which is awesome when I first found out about it :)
I CAN FLY!!!!!
No i can't.
I'm not Scooby Doo or Dougal. I'm Scoogal! It's a dog fusion, you know.
What about Lego and Playmobil?
Wonderfull movie
Most underrated British movie ever
I remember seeing this trailer when I was a teenager. I've seen this 2005 French-British CGI animated film about few times and it's alright for myself. I know it's based on a classic children's television programme from the 1960s and 1970s.
I remember I saw this at the Ormonde Stillorgan (then UCI and now it's called Odeon Stillorgan) by my own in March 2005 and I was nearly 15 in that year. I thought I found it very enjoyable and entertaining.
I've heard the American English dub version of it known as Doogal is just awful. Thank goodness I've never watched the US version of it. I'd say the UK/Australian version of it is way better than that silly American/Canadian version.
2005's best and worst European movies
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (95%)
Doogal (8%)
You're back!
@Pathe Films 2 yup
This is like something from an acid trip Jesus. Forgot this movie existed
same, i can’t explain the feelings im feeling rn, i’ve searched years to find this film
Wait, so this thing acctually existed, I both remembered it, and thought it didnt exisf at the same time
At 1:28,
“I CAN FLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!
(Short pause)
No, I can't."
Best scene
The Superior UK Dub
This movie and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie both released in February 2005 in UK theaters
OMG YES I FOUND IT FINALLY
bro i coulda swore this shii was a dream i never could remember the name but every now nd then id have a picture of a movie i watched when i was 4 or 5 of a spring lookin dude trapped in a roundabout pop up in my head, i always wondered if it was real or not
Doogal (The Weinstein Company, USA Version)
USA Theatrical Release: February 24, 2006
USA DVD Release: August 14, 2006
OMG y'all have seen this too?
ong i thought jon heder played the rabbit for some reason i had no idea what the title of this was like some mandela effect shit in my head fr
every now and then my mind plays the song "the maaaagic roundabout" on repeat but its just that line and i swear it was from the trailer or something but i can't find it anywhere - maybe my mind is tricking me
i listened to 'you really got me now' and decided to find this movie because i could've swore that song was in this movie and it is and now i realise how horrific the animation is - the only characters i could remember before watching the trailer just now were the train, the girl, and the blue bouncy guy
I just suddenly remember this movie after I listened Magic by selena gomez, took a long time finding what movie it is then here I am😭😭😭
My childhood
. Memories
I want to see this again but i also don't want to taint the memorise i had as a kid
It won’t dw, it lives up
This must be the original. I think I like the UK better than the US.
In The Magic Roundabout 2006
Omg how have I found this movie!!!! This was scary for some reason...
idc what you say this film was my upbringing
Le manège enchanté est un film français qui reprend ľhistoire de la série animée de 1964 qui a été conçu à Clisson (France) 😊
I remember watching this I literally forgot about the name haha
can't believe I witness Jimmy in real form
I search carousel and dog movie 😂😂😂 this was a great movie
To add more to what I thought was a FEVER DREAM turns out this movie has EPISODES OF A FORGOTTEN 1970’s TV SHOW
I knew this film was real
I am really shocked to be honest. Seeing all these comments, it feels like we all lived the SAME life
WHEN EVIL IS RELEASED…
DESTINY AWAITS…
ONE FEARLESS WARRIOR…
“Um…
The fearless warrior couldn’t make it today.
So, we came instead!”
Doogal has in both american and UK in this version

BRO I DID NOT KNOW THEY HAD DIFFERENT DUBS OF THIS MOVIE. I ONLY KNEW OF THE ONE WITH WHOOPI GOLDBERG. And it was called DOOGAL.
I wish they’d release this original UK version in North America. I heard it has better voice actors and was actually hilarious unlike it’s US counterpart.
I usually thought the McDonald's toys were the fun part about Doogal imo since I use to have some of them when I was young but fair point👌
Aka The BETTER English Version
Good point since I also know the voices of Dylan,Brian, and Soldier Sam besides Zedebe's voice in this movie (*UK ver.) in other roles like Davy Jones,Madame Gasket, and Beowulf which is cool imo :)

I CAN FLY!!!!!!!!!!!
No I can't.
Be interesting to see Tom Baker playing a villain. The last time I saw him in the role of a baddie was in one of the Harrihausen Sinbad movies.
Firstly. I didn’t even know he voiced in the magic roundabout.
Secondly. I thought he voiced zebedee.
After so many years, I need to know the answer to this question: what is the song playing at 0:26-0:58?
Hey You by Nick Welsh.
@@TVMaster2023Thank you so much, it's been driving me nuts for years!
