These young females won’t let a baby go back to their mother but they want to sit there nipping and biting on the baby as if they don’t like it. And they also don’t want to let the baby cling to their chest until they need to run off some more from the mom🙄. I just don’t understand the point of taking an infant you don’t seem to even like very much!

Various reasons, some kidnappers may be high ranked, and show superiority by taking another’s infant. Some have seen that females with infants get more food from humans passing through, and food is of immense importance to macaques. Others seem to do it because, what the heck? They’re bored. And then there are reasons known only to them.

They DON’T steal Babies, Baboons do , NOT macaques! HUMANS HAVE BABIES, PRIMATES HAVE INFANTS! Why you people keep calling them babies, is totally irrelevant and obviously you don’t know anything about primates! You only think you do from watching these videos and considering they don’t show everything if they did a lot of people wouldn’t watch them and they wouldn’t get all the money that they do !
