Maybe not widely known, John Lennon was a huge Bing Crosby fan. In fact, in its original conception, "Please Please Me" was a pastiche of Bing's song "Please".

I would've assumed he was a fan, I think most people his age were, but I didn't know that about Please Please Me. That's super interesting.

Bing was the beyonce/taylor swift of his time.........the truth is his albums if you want to call them that are 50 cents at goodwill.
