Great video! Wonderful having you at home for two weeks. Love, Dad (Bring Iris next time.)
Bike fit segment was super rad! Side note, the Ornot mini bar bag fits perfectly on my tt bike, in case you were looking for something a bit more compact.
Big watts only!! Nice session bro 😎
the bromance of up and coming triathletes
What a phenomenal workout and track! So excited to help on this one!
Appreciate you guy 🤝🏻
Loving the dub and clean footage! Keep it up!
This was a great video-learned so much at the end.
Serious watts man! I'm getting into Ironmans too, and seeing your videos and the progress from someone that used to work on a computer for a living, then transitioning to this level of endurance blows my mind. Inspired and excited about your journey Ari. Lesgo!
Super interesting video, especially the bike fit part!
Thank you for the video
Great idea REALLY pump up the bike volume
Have at it buddy
Yessir solid work, I’m currently prepping for 70.3 Indian wells 💪🏼
Bike fit was interesting!
always preferer pushing hours on the bike as the risk of injury is super low .. Where most people that push the run to much end up with some sort of injury..
That's a ditty tune, I love it
I couldn’t find it, is it on Spotify?
Damn this video was awesome
I liked the "zinc" just a bottle of Elmer's glue
If you are looking for a challenge on the east coast you should do laps on Whiteface Mountain in NY and the Lake Placid Ironman loops
Not sure where he lives in CT, but the closest CT city to the two spots mentioned is 10 hours round trip by car. Not sure driving all day, part of that in the dark, and paying $150 for gas would be worth it to find a good hill.
@@brianmcewen3082 not sure what the downside is for highlighting options to improve his cycling? Lake Placid Iron Man has one of the toughest cycling courses in the circuit - far more challenging than the teeny hills in CT. Dude wants to be a world class athlete and needs to train like one. You can’t stay on the flats and expect to be competitive. Obviously a day trip makes no sense… lots of triathletes train in the Lake Placid area…
That farty bass music slaps
What version of the speedmax do you have?
Hi Ari, what extension/adapter are you using to get longer reach on your Speedmax? I can see that it looks different than standard but it’s hard to see exactly in the video.
It's the Wattshop Monopost Bracket paired with their adjustable angled spacer and extension pole clamps. Extensions themselves are Aerocoach Angles 15deg extensions. Pads are Tririg Open Back Scoops, which allow me to rest my elbows far up the pads because they're so long, giving even more reach.
bar bag on a tri bike is bonkers
Can you please post a link to the playlist you mentioned?
20 hours of training in a week on the bike or total?
Release that track! So gooood
Devil Sessions III coming relatively soon I reckon
@@archmdz Can wait!
WAIT a gosh dang minute Ari Klau.
You mean to tell me that as long as I hit my power goals on my training rides, it doesn't matter how fast I'm going? I can still abandon the bar bag on race day? It won't become surgically attached?
Lol you might be surprised at how obsessed people are with speed on training rides
Those are my water bottles. I feel famous 🤭
Noob question but it still looks like you're really far forward on the saddle, like the back half of the saddle is just not even being used - is that how it's supposed to look?
Yeah when you use tri bars you need to be forward on the saddle that’s why The saddle he uses is heavily padded in the nose of the saddle
It’s a comfort thing more than anything. The saddle is also split in the front (ISM PN3.0 if youre curious) to relieve pressure in the TT position so it’s very comfortable having very little contact with the saddle. Also allows me to get even further over the bottom bracket, giving me more leverage over the pedals and making the position a bit more quad dominant, saving glutes for running.
@@archmdz ah that’s awesome, makes sense! gotta keep those hammies fresh
What Ironman are you doing?
I believe he said he is doing Florida in another video. This aligns with early November.
What’s the deal with the bag on front of your bike? Seems like the most unaero thing I’ve ever seen?
Fine for training, but not for racing. Power is power.
Get yourself a rim brake bike and thank me later
Don’t sit on the frame 🥲
Yeah another person giving advice. How about not racing next year? Hear me out. You're super young in bike and swim years. Read Alan Couzens, and hang out all year in Z2, get a big farty bass base, then crush 'em in 2025. Maybe not sustainable depending on race income, sponsorship, and the like. But damn, if that isn't a bet on yourself . . .
Is my youtube app going crazy or is this video at 7 likes??
