Another interesting and informative video. Glad you acknowledged the inherent risk of alligators and snakes in that specific area. It takes some bolas to wade through cypress and Mangrove swamps.

For the longest time I thought the bright colors on many bass lures were so garish, but even the most colorful can match some of those micros!

You could go a couple hours north and try to catch a bluenose. Hour north for the lake Eustis pupfish. Not only in lake Eustis.

That metallic shiner looks like a little rapala x-rap you'd but at bass pro shops. Lol and that red breast was weird. Alot different than up here. Much more coloring on the chest and belly.

Watch out for alligator snapper turtles. They'll bite your toe off Leo. I know I wrestled with one. It was quite the opposite for me though I bet his toe off.

Can you explain what makes a Florida bass different than a large mouth bass? Love the videos!!!
Florida Bass are a different species of the Largemouth bass, Florida bass are larger than their northern cousins and grow faster, are more aggressive and have different colors and camouflage patterns when compared to the common largemouth.
Sure thing. They are two distinct species of fish. They may look alike, but they are morphologically different. The best way to different them where they are not sympatric is via lateral line scale count: the northern Largemouth Bass _(Micropterus salmoides)_ has 59-65 lateral line scales, whereas the Florida Bass _(Micropterus floridanus)_ has 69-73 lateral line scales. Summarizing, the northern Largemouth Bass tends to have a deeper body in comparison to the Florida Bass, as well as bigger scales.

Hmm... that's a good question. I am a 10, so I get the Medium and it fits me well. I think they have a chart for sizes on Amazon, so you can check what category your 11.5 fits in.
