- Pro-DJs are about to get a new lease of life, as Pioneer unveils the CDJ-2000nexus -- the industry's first multiplayer to be compatible with rekordbox™ DJ software on smartphones and tablets.
Inheriting the DNA of the much-loved CDJ-2000, the CDJ-2000nexus has evolved beyond
DJs' wildest dreams. DJs can prepare amazing sets and playlists using the included Pioneer rekordbox software or download the new rekordbox app to access the same features on their smartphone or tablet. Music can then be loaded onto the CDJ-2000nexus via USB or, new for the CDJ-2000nexus, Wi-Fi.

Track listing:
Eats Everything - Cause Of You (Instrumental)
Eats Everything - Cause Of You (Acapella)
Eats Everything - 4th Stooge
Eats Everything - Doo Wop - Hudba
I don't think people realize how hard it was to loop that vocal, shrink the loop, and expand it again and release it all in time w the phrasing. That was some dope timing.
Slip Mode with the looping mate aha, not a difficult task but eats everything did it perfectly as per usual
+Ben O Connor damn you're right. didn't notice the light on lol still sick tho
Me: "Shutup and take my money!"
Pioneer: "We did and it wasn't even enough for the mixer.."
The price of al that beatiful equipment is over 9000!
Literally love Eats! Always has that slight look that he has no idea whats going on but always absolutely smashes it!
Seen Eats Everything live twice... Best DJ Ever, Mixing wise and personality in general. He doesnt just turn up for the money, You can tell he does it cause he loves the music! Such a chap! great man
i can listen to this a million times and not get tired, that last track is just too amazing...
Obviously it's over the top to demonstrate the features of the CDJ, but it's refreshing still to see a DJ actually doing something, not just waiting for the song to end so they can press play on the next one.
I have been djing since 1992 mate, in clubs since 1996. I have 12000 vinyl, 3 x Technics 1210 at my house and 4 x CDJ 2000. I was using sync in the video to showcase all the functionality of the CDJ's whilst mixing 3 decks at all times. Its a 3 minute demo to show all the new functions. Get your ass down to Bristol, bring a bag of records and lets go son.
If you guys seriously think the ''Sync'' button is taking the essence out of DJ'ing, you guys are wrong. What really matters nowadays is taking the listener on a journey through your set, anyone can learn to beatmatch, but it takes a true DJ time to select their tracks and take their audience on a journey, not many people can do that. Also, this opens up many creative possibilities for artists to use, such as live remixing, etc. Embrace innovation people, this is the future!
By far one of the best DJ's i'v ever heard.
This has been the only listenable showcase of the new CDJ. This is something I can imagine hearing in a club/mix/podcast not just someone pressing all the buttons of the new features for a promo video. Kudos sir!
@alex xandi I am using the headphones to queue the following tracks up. Beat sync doesn't mean that the cue is auto synced also. Plus, I need to select the right part of the next track. I also do not use the auto sync function when I play in clubs and never will, this was purely to showcase the features of the CDJs
Thank you for posting a fair comment on this video; Pioneer is certainly not the only one to add a Sync feature to their products (and they certainly wont be the last)
Eats everything is so AWESOME! Sweet little showcase!
You realise these are all his own production, right? That's what's impressive more than anything.
Looks beast. The on-point loop function and sync opens up new amazing possibilities
Watch over and over again :D
Sir, you just nailed it.
fantastic demostration.... fantastic...
this is wat i call someone who feels his path ,i love this , hope to head hea
This is the best out of all the CDJ-2000 Nexus demos.
eats everything! best producer and dj around at the minute, top boy!!!
Great vmix! The speakers are sick too
i really loved this track, this guy rocks
What a Boss, he killed it with the reverse switch. Very cool techniques used in this video.
Don't hate on the sync button, Instead try Djing with NO sound card OR headphones... When you've been Djing for over 20 years you KNOW every beat matters you don't have to PRETEND you're doing something when you're djing,(like waste time syncing EVERY single track by hand), because you'll be busy ACTUALLY djing like Mr.EatsEverything here just clearly demonstrated. (He demonstrated BOTH actually if you were paying attention.) All the tracks he spun were all his productions too! Hands up for EATS! (First Track: Entrance Song - Eats Everything Last Track: Jazz Hands - Eats Everything) Thank YOU Eats...
That dude knows to mix stop judging appearance!
Appearance should have no effect on how ppl view djs like eats everything
Eats Everything - Cause Of You. Needs to be released it is another level bring on NYD warehouse project!
AWESOME.
Loving the fact it's all run off one use pen. Think it's mental. Wouldn't mind having a go on that set up.
Totally different level from the other dj's! Definitely inspiring !
Amazing - nice new features and amazing DJ!
now i get it!! eats everything!!! great music, now i want to buy a cdj!
Well done Dan.... Done Bristol proud!!!!!
I cdj hanno una qualità disarmante! Fantastico ancora il 2000 nexus
Just flashy enough, and gets everyone dancing. This man is the fucking don.
east everything is a absolute beauty !!
goodbye Vinyl, was a pleasure to meet you
Cool, can't wait to test these :-)
Eats Everything you rock man ,awesome video!!!
Excelent! Love the music! Would pay to see Eats Everything perform!
I have, 5 times in the space of a year, there is a reason for that
hes insane
Exactly mate. My sentiments totally. If you wanna do summat complicated then stick the sync on just in case. If you are just beat matching then who needs the synce, beat matching is the easiest part of djing.
So much win! Eats Everything you made my day! Totally agree with you.
this made my day! amazing!
great video!
love this, sweet, you can have a lot of creative fun with this hardware, to bad I am not able to have a set yet, mad respect for anyone who can get a set of these to play with, o how mixing from tables have changed so much.
He worked that equipment and thats what counts. Bravo!
I like the smooth songs he has used
Damn son, thats one sick performance
brilliant
Really nice!
Very creative
Impressionante a qualidade técnica desse cara, tira 100% do que o equipamento oferece!!!! Top demais, cara tu é fora do planeta....kkkkkkk
Ahhhhh just seen Track listing. Loving your production.
hmm i respect the deep house selection and his mixing style. I was, at first, confused about his mixing, but I caught on. He's got his own style.
Best five minutes of my life...
I like it. Good performance
Bello e fantastico
Epic!
NICE
The mixed in Key function is invaluable so you can mix in the right tracks
Pioneer have really thrown the proverbial sync at the nexus
just what we need ANOTHER set of decks to add to the pile!
That manual loop adjust is sick!
damn this is so dope
I live in the states, Texas, and had not heard your stuff till this Nexus video. I dig your sound. Downloaded all I could find on iTunes, Beatport etc..great stuff buddy. Would love to see vids of your production setup etc... Keep Rawkin!
few bangers there from eats.
Eats Everything is such a badass
so sick
Brilliant mate. Loving what you do with the rev's! Haters hate, creators create.
good job!!
Even if I don't really use this music genre..... For me, this is the best presentation video for the cdj 2000! You really know how to use the loop out to transform a simple voice sample into....another musical instrument! :) Love that.... and the other tricks too ;) !
Even if you consider it simple, its effective and an amazing mix/set.
The Sync button is there to give a Dj more time to use samples/fx/mic/ & brings the creativity of s mix up 100% so stop hating and get with the times... As much as we love it, We've come a long way from vinyl, So Embrace the Future of Djing
Great job Mr. Eats Everything!!! Great job sir! :)
I want these! and dude was throwing down on the house tracks! respect. .oh well looks like ill just settle for ddj sx for now.
Nice groove :) Looks like another wave of booth upgrades are in store for us all. :)
king.
This is great men
Groovy!
The mightybuda approves of your mixing Eats Everything :-)
ohh ahah classic mix up! no man i love eats everything, i was bouncing to this whole set, really enjoyed it!
This is a sick video with awesome tune selection and lots of skill ... Anyone who differs really haven't got a clue! I've been djing for 14 years (8 years professionally) .. started on Soundlab DLP3's, then 1210's, then CDJ's and I also use Traktor and Serato now and again (I like them both). People complaining that they have a sync button and other functions seriously need to wake up and smell the coffee!
really wanna see this dude live. Would be amazing.
Damn, this was creative. Eat Everything mate, you're danm goooood
I'm with you on that dude
You are my hero, see you in Sydney soon
Trop calé le pap's !
Thank you I will.
Well. I am not big fan of Pioneer but I have to admit. They are years ahead of everything else.
GENIOOOOOO ASI SE MANEJAN ESAS BESTIALIDADES!!!
You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to seeing you and Mark Knight new years! I saw you at Solstice which was phenomenal! You're unbelievable I really do hope you go far, see you soon buddy!
lo mejor de lo mejor.. yes
Sick
those first two minutes made the whole demo.
Dope.
exelente
Eats Everything indeed
this guy is a boss.
For sure this guy has some mad skills, but we should not forget that Pioneer has set an enormeous focus on sync functions that allow DJ's to do really crazy stuff. Without sync the whole thing would go off-beat pretty fast, it's truly amazing what players of the latest generation offer to their users. But there's no doubt that this was an impressive mix, I'll give him a thumb up :o)
Wow, he really knows how to handle the decks !
