Genuinely a midfielde if Rice, Mainoo and Bellingham would be insane. Legs, vision, ball retention, ball recoveries, asissit and goals in all 3.
Mainoo reminds me of bellingham when he first came on the scene and everyone said hes young but he was so good and matured on the field they couldnt not play him. Mainoo is becoming the same.. hes a starter for united and not just not a starter he's actually saved united's midfield.. he'd have started earlier in the season if he didnt get injured in the summer

They're not prospects who might or might not make it, theyre not just starters but important players for their clubs senior teams already to so unless (touch on wood) injuries affect either of those players trajectories than what do you (naively) think will happen to them? They'll not only be starting in a few years but all 3 of them are future captains for the club sides. I mean there's the same risk any player gets injured than, including Declan rice? Lol
You know you talk about "they maybe be good in the future but not great" and dominating on a world stage then go on to replace Lewis Miley with a player 7 or 8 years older than him whose NEVER done that in Declan Rice. 2 of the 3 play for bigger clubs than Arsenal and west ham combined and Newcastle will in all likelihood be up there to pretty soon. Declan rice is not an option if you want to win things, he's not world class has never been and will most likely never be considering hes in his mid to late twenties now. Lewis Miley is 16/17 ? And has a much higher ceiling than Declan rice. They're already good mate, very good. Whether they become "world class" who knows but all 3 are on track to.
Name 5 other 17/18 year olds who start at the biggest clubs in the world right now and look like their clubs best players consistently? There aren't any. If these lads don't have world class potential, than nobody does.

Harvey Elliot and Curtis Jones are not defensive minded midfielder. Too many offensive midfielder will not be better for England by the fact that England weakness was defense and goalkeeping area.
