    Apologies, incoming wall of text. Perfect vid btw. We FPE arties are one of the unheard classes. You are 200% right my guy. I mained FPE arty until destroyer dropped but still kept FPE on my main 6. Gave BE a try for a long while. BE damage is nuts, but the build is boring as hell (I think all "transform" builds are boring). I played swift FPE for a long while as well. LOVE the APM and spammage, but the dps is so poor that my own static (in our alt reclears) were making fun of it so I eventually went back to 70/30 crit. As you have said, the problem with FPE in general is that it's damage is low-mid, even in long fights. The other issue is that the crit build has too long of CDs unless you have higher level gems, but even then, it's still long.
    The balance patches are headed in the right direction, but SG still needs to look at non-meta class builds. One of the biggest problems with original/old classes is that they cannot compete with the new the classes. The trend with new classes is making them fast (even if they are a crit or spec build) but also have the ability to burst high and have some form of mobility. Old classes like FPE arty have nothing like that and have hardly been touched to mimic that. There's a couple others that are just bottom tier (control glaivier, blue lancer) that NEED a pretty big balance and rework to make them viable.
    I love the whole "artillery" idea with arty and the skills, just as shame it's still left in the dust. Here we are with all the WD, GS, glaiver, SE, slayer mains complaining they need a buff when there surely , 200% other classes/builds that need a buff moreso than them

    I feel you about damage I main firepower as well I don’t like barrage

    Level 3 FPE engraving should be "have firepower meter always full" (at level 3 so barrage doesn't "benefit" from it), cause is a pain in the ass to charge the meter, damage would then be more consistent and probably will be better, also, i used to get top stagger and felt amazing giving stagger to my teammates, but now other classes are doing much more stagger than me while also doing a shit ton of damage, so i see no point on playing FPE :c

    Try running missile barrage awakening it fills your meter almost instantly, obviously only helps when you first start a raid and doesn't solve the underlying issue of building it after mechanics
