She also shares the reasons why the Keto diet may not yield the same positive results for everyone, especially in the context of the different stages of chronic illness, based on energy metabolism dysfunction.     I have to disagree about "it's hard to stay in this restricted state". Ummm no, actually it's really not. It's like finally realizing just how stupid smoking is - once that reality crystalizes in your brain - done.

      that is highly individual. for You it may be easy. for SomeOne Else it may not. and btw, have You ever smoked more than just on occasion? regards.

      It is highly individual, granted. Yes I was a very heavy smoker for ~20 years, and was able finally to quit, after several attempts, by following the ideas discussed by Jean Paul Sartre - which I very loosely hinted at in my response.
      I've since been able to use the same approach against other issues: most importantly how to adjust my WOE in response to tackling diabetes.
