Teardrops On My Guitar (Ed's Version)

- This is my cover version of Teardrops On My Guitar by Taylor Swift, the second single from her debut album. I recorded and produced all of the music, then added in the isolated vocal track from the original version into the mix to try and get as close to the original as possible. I had great fun recording this, there is just so much going on with this song. It opens with brushed drums, bass guitar, three acoustic guitars plus a mandolin and banjo playing the opening melody. These instruments continue through most of the song and in addition, once it gets to the chorus, a second drum set kicks on, together with organ, a couple of violins and electric guitar. The one instrument I was not able to do was the pedal steel guitar, mainly because I haven't got one, but I'm hoping that omission does not make it too different to the original. I hope you like it!

I only wish I was perfectly sure and confident but obviously I admit we all do get tired of being so alone all the time and I so badly personally realize that I have to put myself out there to finally hopefully possibly not feel like I always truly do so yeah I'm rushing myself but who could really blame me though ❤
