Not really. He is falsely oversimplifying Henry's breakdowns. Henry has a very good fight IQ. Sean is just mad he doesn't get the easier fight. A short old Henry past his prime is an easier matchup than Aljo.

I scored it for aljo but it really depends how you score fights, a 3-2 scorecard for Henry isn’t ridiculous at all if you understand the scoring criteria

Huge huge Sean fan. He's just a genuine guy who just so happens to be a professional fighter. A few of my friends met him a while back and they said he's as nice of a guy as it gets. Spent time. Took pics. I would love to see him grab a belt for a while. I think he deserves the chance for sure.

I agree, I like suga Sean as a man and as a fighter. He has very interesting and entertaining striking and he's definitely the best striker in the division. Would be awesome for him to get the belt but honestly as much as I hate to say it, I highly doubt Sean will be able to beat Aljo bc of Aljos ground game and size. Yeah sean is big but hasn't had a lot of high level competition to fight besides Yan and hasn't had to fight anyone as big and strong as Aljo with great grappling. You never know what will happen, but I just don't see it for Sean in the near future as of now.

I am looking forward to O’Malley vs Aljo. Good clash of styles.
Very true, a very talented striker vs a very talented grappler. But the UFC’s rule set favors Aljo more than it favors O’Malley. O’Malley is a striker who can’t knee a downed opponent. This means Aljo can just shoot takedowns repeatedly like he did against Petr Yan in their rematch and he can’t be punished for it. Because if he fails the takedown O’Malley cannot make him pay with the knee. Usually in a fight if you make a move and fail the move you’re open to a counter attack, Aljo is immune to that attack because UFC’s rule set of not being able to knee a downed opponent. There’s many more factors that make a wrestler have a massive advantage just based off of the organizations rule set. This is why you see wrestlers with such an apparent advantage in the Octagon.
You’re right, it is an interesting stylistic matchup because it’s the classical striker vs wrestler, but O’Malley has a absolutely detrimental disadvantage. And because of this nobody is putting money on O’Malley, if you want to make money you’ll vote for Aljo.

You know, everyone thinks Aljo is gonna whoop him but, Sean finds lightening in a bottle sometimes... 😅 He better be careful when he is changing levels.
Aljo has about 3 months to recover from his injuries after a 5-round battle with Cejudo and then immediately go into a training camp followed by a weight cut. Sure, everyone wants O'Malley to become champ but you've got to give the champ at least 6 months before he fights again. Sean hasn't fought since last October and has been training for Aljo since then.

You're reaching here mate, it was a good episode overall.. Its a fight companion so typically you'll have dull moments, but the chemistry was actually pretty solid. 2 ufcs fighters technically breaking down the fighters and future matchup.

Whats insane about the ppv points is that every title challenger doesnt get any ppv points. They should all get ppv points, that is their moment they worked to get to the top of the mountain so they should be compensated for it. They are the other part of the draw, its the champion and the challenger that are bringing in the customers, the challenger should get a percentage, albeit smaller.
I don't even really think it will be shocking...if Sterling can't get and KEEP him down he's in for a long night O'Malley will have his way on the feet and has more KO power
