    Thanks for the video! I like your phone /map set up but I don't understand how it tracks your downloaded maps if the phone has no cell service plan? I'm not tech savvy and was hoping you could explain in more detail how your set up works because I want to do the same. If you get in a remote area with no cell service then it will drop your location on the map?

      Thanks and good question. Most cell phones do not need an active cell plan just to use the gps. If you use a "offline" capable mapping system like OnXOffroad and download the maps to your phone using wifi at your house or somewhere else, you can ride anywhere without a cell plan because the gps built into the phone reports the phone's location on your downloaded map!
