Positives:
The overall story was good and it made me feel like i was actually watching a James Bond movie or Mission Impossible.
The voice acting is decent and Niko's actor really brings the character to life. His sarcasm, charm and catchphrases are pulled off really well.
My favourite character may have to be the Professor. I've always loved the characters that handle the tech, vehicles and weapons. And he also brings a lot of the humour to the movie as well.
The way this movie is shot really reminds me of a Hollywood action movie. It must have been really hard to film so I'm appreciative of the hard work that you put into it to entertain us all.
Negatives:
Whilst i liked the editing, i wasn't a big fan of the way some of the action sequences were edited. Like the car chase for example, the way it was edited made it look too simple and was not very pretty to look at.
I couldn't help but notice that a lot of the characters swap actors, it kind of distracted me from the film and maybe be careful of that in future movies.
Overall, i loved this! It was a great experience and i understand that it isn't easy to make these things! Great work Knighthunter Studios!

This review is purely based upon the final product and we hope will help KHS create even better projects in the years to come!
Three years has paid off! The film overall was an enjoyable experience with the story being solid and the voice acting for the most part. Those external voice actors really added a whole new level of commitment to this mammoth feature. The story was solid and provided a sense of threat which in turn allowed the arc of your characters to continue successfully. It was a typical Bond/ Mission Impossible spy thriller which was executed really well! To attempt a full three hour feature with numerous global locations was brave… i was initially worried when you started to travel away from the main map of what GTA V provides. However i must say places such as Morocco and the UK (my home) were really well done. I think you guys really nailed that part. To finally see you guys utilising R* Editor was great! Those fight scenes were really well done!!!
Now the main problems with the film all come down to the overall lenght of the film! Personally i think the film could of finished atleast 20 minutes prior to the ending which would of left more of a ‘cliff hanger’ sort of speak. On top of that it could of lost another 30 minutes (this mainly being the driving fdrom A to B, its nice to see the journey but a simple leaving one area and arriving at the next would of been fine… i can see this was implimented more towards the end of the film). Ultimatley it would of made for a tighter story without the dry patches between… plus seeing its three hours (just about) i feel would be off putting which is a shame and id rather people not miss out on your hard work!
The only other things that didnt quite work (these are small and i wouldn’t take them into account too much), first being some dialogue but i understand writing a script with everything being perfect is hard… i know that one myself! In addition the cinematography was basic which worked well for the most part but was lazy at times. I understand this is probably one of your first outing with R* Editor and it does take some time to get used to… in our own project you can see how our skills with R* Editor have changed over time. Finally the lips… I know you had a problem with this and so i wont mention it for too long but it would of been nice as without them moving its slightly confusing as to who is speaking thus drawing you out of the scene.
In the end though this is a massive project that is really well crafted, the editing, sound, story etc. You guys should be proud of your achievement and not take my points to heart! Really well done lads… we look to your feedback on our own work one day and your future projects to come!

Black Phantom, this film just blows everything that came before out of the waters. A new era of agent 11 the Matthew White era or the rockstar editor era.
This film is just epic, the action, the set pieces and the scope and size of the film is huge.
Now my only complaint is the lip movement other than that, the film is epic from the storytelling and the villian.
And the new character of valkarie was a welcome surprise I love hid charisma and charm, and the professor was the definitely the standout of the film.
Now as the new niko bellic Matthew White surpasses joel by a landslide from the way how he make niko such a cold, and sympathy character.
What can I say I was blown away by this film.

I love the John Wick/James Bond type feel for the movie It makes it look like a little bit of James Bond then John Wick literally a 100/100
Ill just say spoiler alert now, just incase i spoil something...
Three Hours Dude, this took time, effort, patience. I gotta say, it may have taken me three days to finish but it was worth it. Limited fat on the whole production, i couldn't think of a scene that wasn't necessary. Big payoffs in the end, everything that was set up in act one had a piece and played out in act two and three. The soundtrack, near flawless on the voices, the music itself very fitting, had that nice Mission Impossible James Bond feel that you were clearly going for, but the story still remained original. It flowed nicely. Excellent use of Blonde Redhead there at the end, it didn't feel cheesy, which is a tough sell when introducing a new villain in the denouement of a story. Left me wanting more. Nothing felt rushed, everything felt very polished. I watched for three acts saying to myself can we put a gun in the professors hand. And there the fuck it was act three. Valkarie, obviously is going to be a fan favorite. Beautiful bromance there. Their partnership was nice, i actually wasn't sure if he was going to turn on the team or die, i would have been dissapointed either way, although in 2018, you really expect a main character death, but this sets up that most likely someone will die in the series finale. The action scenes were nice, well put together, very meaty, like a full meal at the end of each action sequence. Ive worked with a micromanaging asshole thats always talking about efficiency. I needed that guy dead early on. Definately lived upto the hype, i think you let it marinate just the right amount of time. You had a good promotional schedule which i think was key, you teased us with this thing for months and it did pay off. This is the best work, definite A++. I will probably watch it again, probably by the forth time I'll watch it with a critical eye, but honestly, there was not an ounce of fat on this, its a long feature at just under three hours and you filled every minute of it. Well Done. Excellent work!

For the length of this movie it is really good
The intro is beautiful
I'll start off by congratulating Sam and his team for pulling this monster of a film off. Now however you feel about it, you can't knock the effort or courage of attempting something of this size!
Now I thoroughly enjoyed the film for the most part, but I did have some disappointments with it and thought some things where lazy, which left me baffled. I will start with the negatives....
- The editing at times was lacklustre and just lazy. For example, slowing the frame speed down in scenes was nothing short of irritating, infringing on the cinematography. Everything would flow and then the velocity speed would slow slightly to around mid 80's footage speed, instead of its native frame speed. If slowing it down was the aim, perhaps you should of ran the film at 24fps!
- Again with the editing, some scenes flow very nicely, then some just throw continuity out the window and don't match up, suddenly cutting back to frame or a close up which can throw you off, especially when the film runs so smoothly, only to be brought down with a bump when the scenes don't sync or compliment each other!
- Sound at times felt off, especially during the bike chase scene, but we've discussed this BTS! The sound of extreme coughing when punched got repetitive or the heavy breathing that after time becomes a borderline porno lol. Little things that stand out!
- lip movement issue.... Takes you out of the action a titch, but like the sound issue, discussed BTS ect.
- Color grading! There was times the pallet was decent, times when it was off, and then times when it was just none existent. The scene in the house between Niko & Richard Delaware is a perfect example of when/should/how you could of used color grading.... (Spoiler warning) Scene starts in night time, enter house with sun streaming through, finishes outside at night again. You could have coloured the back light to give the effect it was night, eliminating the terrible DOF effect!
- Location Location Location! Some worked, some didn't.... I commend your attempt but it felt awkward at times and others it worked momentarily, but then kinda took a trip and revealed itself!
- Pacing.... It wasn't an issue issue. I do feel though that this film could of been a 2 parter! I discussed this with you BTS and understand why you chose not to take that rout, but watching the full film, I feel there was more to tell lol!
Now the bad points are sorted, lets get to the meat and potatoes of the film!
- Writing..... Massive CONGRATULATIONS to JJ for bringing some wit to the film and story! It was slick and made me laugh at parts, gave the film heart and humanised the character of agent 11! Shoutout to you also Sam as a co writer. The pair of you done a blinding job and you would be foolish if the pair of you didn't re team for your finale!
- Directing.... Knowing the stress and strain of directed/directing a big film like this, I got nothing but respect for KHS director Sam Main! You took the criticism like a man and you took this on and made it your own challenge and now that challenge is sitting on floor in pieces coz you absolutely smashed it Sam, well done Mate!
- The cast of Black Phantom.... Like Sam & JJ, you all played your parts very well. As a team, congratulations to you all!
- So voice acting... I think Harry as Prof stole the show. I think I said it with Darklight, I would love to see a Professor W film! Matt did brilliantly as Niko. There was moments I feel maybe he hesitated but as the film progressed he got better. Some of the dialogue didn't help but overall steller job. The returning cast did well, along with the new VA cast member also!
- No fear. No bullshit.... I felt with this film you basically said go big or go home. That zero fear, zero bullshit mind set made the backbone of this film and its partly why it worked. Sam said in his article that ''its the first film he made where he could look back and say, we made a great movie!'' and you accomplished that mission!
- Inspiration and Nods.... I absolutely love Rogue Nation, so me enjoying this film is no surprise. I love the fact that you took inspiration from multiple Mission films, such as Ghost Protocol for the prison scene, Rogue Nation for the bike chase, all the way to the choice of locations but at the same time making them your own.
- Story elements... The relationship between Niko and Valkyrie surprised me coz I was adamant Valkyrie was gonna fuck everyone over. Loved the backstory they shared and would love to see a film dedicated to that backstory of them in their old unit. Loved the cloak and dagger story of Robert Peers. Was also pleasantly surprised by the dynamic and elements in Claudia Angels character, being married and all (Spoiler)! The bird with the pacemaker though needs to hurry up and bite the dust loooooool.... If your next film has an EMP attack in it, she's fucked lol! The person who voiced her did well nonetheless!
- The stunts where over the top but very well thought out.
- The set design is some of the best of seen in terms of console machinimas!
- The soundtrack was for the most part very good, accept for a couple songs... Using Joe Kraemers Rogue Nation swung it for me. Brilliant OST score and it fitted the inspiration and nods you guys aimed for!
- Film length and pacing.... I wasn't sure about it being 3 hours long but it went by pretty quick. Similar to what Clockwork said, It did slow and chop slightly, in the end though you got back on track and the film flew by. Even though i put pacing in the negatives, I felt it was worth its own mention in the positives also!
I've watched the film 3 times now, so that's 9 bloody hours. I've left elements out of this comment, mainly coz my fingers hurt from typing and I need to get back editing, but mainly coz i didn't feel they where important. Overall I'd give this film an 8.5/10! Exceptional character driven story, stunts and soundtrack but most importantly, It was pure fun! Congratulations to Knighthunter studios and I wish you all the best for the future and a very happy 2019!

Thank you! Agent 11 is called 'Niko Bellic' because, quite frankly, back when we were young and started this franchise we simply didn't know what to call our protagonist! Best way to look at it is, it's another person entirely, not in anyway related to the GTA IV version of Niko Bellic! Should also stress that, if you enjoyed Black Phantom, its sequel - The Heir of Scorpio - is releasing on July 30th! Stay tuned! :)

Great movie overall. However there are little details that could make the movie just a little bit better. The car chase should've had more intensity and should have maybe more crashing damaging to the cars more vehicles chasing niko and the professor mate some more shooting and hitting. And another thing is to make it slightly more spy ish if u know what I mean like maybe like add silencers on the gun, faster movement but silently making their way around the enemies instead of going all in and maybe less guards around one area like when they were at the house when they had to take everyone out, should've had the guards more spread out in order to make it seem more realistic and niko should use a surpressor on his pistol to not alert all of the other guards
FBI is a stupid name...that gave me a chuckle, but this movie is fantastic. Very 007/Mission Impossible like

As stated in the opening and closing credits, the song is covered by Linus Hemker; a popular musician on CZcams who provided a fantastic cover of KALEO's 'Way Down We Go'! Hope this helps!

If you are attempting to monetize your video whilst using copyrighted music it will get blocked, and it also depends on what music you use. As KHS does not monetize or capitalize off our machinimas in anyway, we are permitted to! Might be something to look into?

May I ask a question how do u get soo many people to help you like that or is it a ped mod on pc?
We have a really great group of people who help film the majority of the scenes on the Xbox One console. There are some instances where, due to scheduling conflicts, we've had to film on the PC using pedestrian mods, but in Black Phantom 90% of the film is done on console!

Well done KnightHunter Studios! This movie truly is something spectacular! I have a proposition that could benefit us both. I’m a passionate gta machinima maker, well I used to be, but due to Article 13 I’m not allowed to upload copyrighted content anymore, including games. That broke my heart, especially because I was working on a gta movie, that’s beyond anything you’ve ever seen. Great story and characters, amazing voice actors, all of that hard work for nothing. All we need is a publisher and we would ask nothing in return, only that our names are in the credits. Help us, please!

In terms of the Article 13 issue, we are entirely aware of said problem (one of the many reasons the EU needs reformation, of course) and are lucky enough to be in a position where this will not affect our channel. So a client of mine put me onto this comment after watching the film and after reading through your comment, I'm kinda baffled how article 13 could even have an effect on your channel when the stupid bill hasn't even been passed or written into law!?!
@@triplesixfilms you're right, I didn't explain it right. Article 13 will become the law in April and my movie is still in development and by the time we would finish the movie, it would already be too late. That's why we're looking for a publisher. Sorry for the misunderstanding
@@TwistedHD I personally think you're being hasty and jumping the gun.... The bill might not even get passed. My movie is due in the Spring and I'm not worried. The amount of hate article 13 is getting, i'd be surprised if they didn't stall on it! Focus on making the best film you can and then worry about whether you'll be able to upload or not!
