- The Arctic might soon become completely ice-free. And when all of the ice is gone, the world won't be the same. And while politics seems to keep failing to reach a consensus on how to act, the only way to save the ice may be to intervene directly. We look at radical geoengineering proposals that aim to do just that. We could bring the ice back to the Arctic with the help of huge wind-powered water pumps, we could help the young Arctic ice reflect more sunlight by covering it with small, shiny silica microspheres or try cutting off the Sun's rays by creating more clouds. But would the cost be worth it?

I was just listening yesterday on the news about how by the year 2030 there is going to be so much Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere it’s going to become significantly harder to breathe. I’m not sure if it’s true but the thought of it scares me 😰

Let just say mankind is a stubborn piece of sh*t. Even for me I don't resent that.
We could entirely fix the problem but our innate nature as being a selfish and greedy species is not easily to be tempted down.
If you look at statistics, least than 70-80% are ok what they have and some annoyed if changes to come. Only 10-20% are willing to help reclaimed the world once it was.
But anyway fixing the world would eventually happen. Not by us but the world itself once we're gone or moved to another planet. Earth itself is capable healing. I mean over a couple of times this planet faced extinction level event way before apes walk on the surface.
Denying science is asinine. It's not a hoax.
Well thinking the earth hasn't frozen over and melted countless times is denying science.
I'm not saying humans haven't accelerated the process but thinking artificially freezing the planet is any better is pretty dumb.

I had this idea of refreezing the arctic since I was a kid. My idea way back was using a freeze ray. That would make it so much easier. But it seems that technology is still far from reach.
Well we just need people to actually do something and such a technology might be possible.

I used to work in the grocery store. Dairy department was my favorite. Ice cream freezers are colder than dairy freezers. We can build ice caps in every city.
