Your ice fishing content is terrific. It's funny bc I grew up and have lived in the south my whole life so I'm used to your standard bass/crappie/catfishing and occasional surf fishing. I've only ice fished once in my life outside Bozeman, MT. Still, I'm addicted to watching it. The excitement of not being able to see what you're about to pull up through that hole is incredible. Keep up the good work 👌

Used to live up in Leaf Rapids. My dad and I had a fish farm up there. 20km south of Leaf Rapids. Before he passed away we released about 3000 rainbow and Arctic Char. Sizes ranging from 1lb to 6lb. Would love to go back and try fishing to see if anything survived the monster jack fish in there.

If you make the trip up to Lynn Lake, spend a day or two at Zed Lake or Vandekerckhove Lake. Or go all the way to Reindeer Lake for big fish
