Sputnik - BIFSC 2018 Submission

My submission to the 2018 Berlin International Film Scoring Competition. The film they chose was 'Sputnik', a Maxim Zhestkov short film about the evolution of an extraterrestrial mind, and its journey to the light. The project was created with the help of industry leading artists from all over the world, including: United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Russia. Production of the full CG animated short film took a year and a half.
I may not have won, but I had an awesome time scoring this film and I am quite proud of it since it's my first ever time scoring to film. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to participate in this competition and to be able to score original music for a beautifully animated amazing film! It's not to show off the music, but to use music to elevate the film.
