How come so many people hating this dude some saying he has drove much faster so he's acting dumb, but the other cars he drove and some that are faster HE NEVER OWNED, now he's been able to save up and by his own RS3 and good on him, he worked for it it's his car he drives it and as long as he likes it its all that maters,Iv got an ED30 mk5 golf and id love one of these but unfortunately ain't got the funds just yet but my day will come and hopefully I'll be able to get this one instead of the newer one
I think the RS3 one of the best hot hatches along with the Focus RS mk2, congrats on the new weapon!

Great review, currently got mine for sale in the same spec but including the bucket seats and as you say is an epic all rounder. These cars deserve more publicity so your doing everyone a favour as nobody really knows what they are and how quick they actually can be. Great job, I think you summed them up perfectly 👍

There quite capable I've got the same with an extra 50odd hp and rear seat delete.. Rear anti roll bar upgrade lowered 25mm held up a porsche gt3rs for a couple of laps and took a Westfield with a bike engine :) at croft circuit on road tyres

Owned my RS3 8P about 4 months. Still getting used to the 516bhp but I do love it! Yet to launch though. At 550 lb/ft i'm a little concerned for the gearbox.

What a looker, looks aggressively fast! All the 8P interiors are lovely too imo, very comfy and a nice place to be. The armrest is really underrated haha, first thing I did in my 8P was put the armrest in (full leather interior, previous owner didn't spec the armrest?!) - gets in the way a bit when putting in a lot of lock but essential for long drive tbh. Lovely car mate, well done on this!

Really really sick car.. obviously for the price they’re at too. It’s just the interior I can’t get past, it’s just too old and dated, and also the twin one sided pipes, it should be split atleast. Performance wise it’s offit.

Nice car but I’d still rather have a mk2 focus rs. Sounds nicer, looks a lot nicer manual gearbox and cheaper to buy.
Went to look at the focus mk 2, but the rs3 offers more and the old key in bonnet open no thanks. The rs3 just offered more value. But my rs3 is Apr tuned and has had everything done to it.

You will find the understeer on the road when it rains. Nice car, a bit of a shame it has that gearbox and the numb steering but what a great engine.

What made you buy this over the mk2 focus rs? They’re similar price points and I’m interested in buying either this or an RS next
He has said in this video and his debut video of his car that this is his dream car. He also said it's an auto which for him and his traveling. These cars are awd and the 5 cylinder I would choose this over the focus as well. Better interior to boot.

The auto box I understand if he’s doing big miles, I’m just interested to see whether one actually drives better than the other or is more fun. The Quattro in my opinion would make it less dramatic to drive, which may be a good thing for some people but not for me. I think I’m leaning more towards an RS because I’m a fan of the manual box also

@@Larry3200 Performance-wise you're not gonna beat the 8p with a mk2 RS but in terms of fun and engagement, RS all the way, no competition. Also has the looks to go with the sound.
My dad has the same car but the 2 door one the S3 his is Quattro and it's 300bhp man it gose his is white with black wheels and a carbon splitter and rear diffuser and it's a lowered it's got the £3,000 steering wheel at you get when speaking out the car from new and it's got the best seats you can get from Audi it sounds so nice and ps I love your auid to 👍
Went to buy a 300bhp s3 no hate but felt really slow to me, had a few cars an my old 286bhp Impreza would of destroyed it. Nice car though, my mate bought a 343bhp one that goes pretty well I just think 4 wheel drive heavy cars need 400bhp plus to be moving 🤷♂️

@@oliverdamms7152 Lee's evo is nowhere near 570bhp it's about 400.
The Evo is a much sharper car to drive. The Audi would be a nicer daily car but the Evo is far more exciting to drive for fun or on a track.

Age and no claims bonus really does help in insurance. I'm 21 at the moment I'm quoted over £3k for insurance on a RS3
