I do know that one of the three is Viktus (taller guy with blondish hair) who has been a close friend of Ren's and is part of the small tight team of homey's that have supported Ren from day 1. Viktus is also the man under the Pig Mask, a recurring trend that you will see as you follow Ren's journey. Kia kaha from NZ

The bagged hostage playing guitar is Romain Axisa, who was Ren's roommate and bandmate from The Big Push. Highly rec their busking video "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip-Hop." An incredible performance where you can also get a peek at Romain (in the cap shredding his guitar) and see another aspect of Ren's versatility.
The tall blonde guy is Viktus, who is a friend and often acts in Ren's videos (though you can't usually see his face). Viktus is featured rapping in Ren's "Down on the Beat."
Since you have an eye for it, you'll quickly discover how incredible Ren is at picking locations for his videos, which are usually guerilla style - apologizing later if caught, like in this one. The backgrounds for "Hi Ren," "Illest of Our Time," "The Tales" (Jenny's, Screech's, Violet's), "Animal Flow," "Chalk Outlines," "The Hunger," the list goes on & on, but the choices are impeccable. Even if you don't like the music, you're going to love the videos.

The thing about Ren, that differs from most rappers, is that he is a very serious musician in that he plays guitar well and piano extremely well. And he composes the music, not just the lyrics.

As others have said Viktus is a Rapper too, featured on Down on the Beat on the album Sick Boi. Kai is the Bassist in a recent 'retake' Back on 74/ Message in a Bottle. (Retakes are a homage to artists that have inspired Ren)

I loved Xena I watched it both during its original release time and then on the cable channels when it was replayed, and then my son and daughter bought me the box DVD set and I still to this day have it and watch sometimes.

You know you have real friends when you can ask them to dress up in various costumes and wander around the city to film something that might take hours and they show up over and over again. Must admit Beasty Boys were my first favourite hip hop group. And yes, I watch Xena , Hercules and a lot of other campy WB shows. Loved them.
