Best not to use this on your cat if they groom excessively. Can be used cautiously. Only a light mist, spread it around with your hands, and then no more than once/week.

hey everyone iv e been using this recipe since the day he posted this video and I have not had any fleas! I comb my dogs nightly and no fleas they are also allergic to fleas so they scratch intensely. I have them sleep on white sheets and in the morning I check the sheet for flea dirt I spray with water bottle and if it turns to blood then its flea dirt. So I have not had any fleas since using this recipe! I also feed raw and freeze dried and I also home make meals for my dogs and use standard process immune booster and other supplements as well! Thanks for sharing. As a teacher of Aromatherapy I would recommend less drops, for a spray - not more as 1 %. Instead Lemon, we use Lemongrass or Citronella or Rose Geranium. Plus Neemoil and for the basis we use hydrosols (without alcohol) of Cistus ladaniferus, Witch Hazel, and 10 ml Black Cumin oil (fatty oil) and Coconut oil. If you have a good spray nozzle, it will work. đŸŒșđŸŒșđŸŒșFor example: 5 gtt Lavender, 5 gtt Citronella, 5 gtt Cedarwood or Stone Pine, 5 gtt Neemoil, in 60 ml Cistushydrosol, 20 ml Witch Hazel hydrosol, 10 ml Aloe Vera oil, 9 ml Black Cumin Seed oil. Hello Dr. Jones, I really want to thank you for your suggestion on the organic, and healthy approach to fleas and ticks on our pets. Additionally, I wanted to share my experience with your suggestion. I bought all the ingredients you suggested to repel fleas on my dog and cat. However, I forgot that bees can respond to the pheromones. I soaked my melanois female dog before taking her out to the back yard to do her business. In the process, unbeknownst to me, I locked myself out. So when coming back inside the house the bees reacted intensely. Once my son opened the door, we came in with a few bees on us. One stung me on the neck, one them got on my kitten, a few were on my hair, one stung my son, but thankfully, the pets suffered no harm. So we have to be careful if we are outdoors close to honey bees as some essential oil scent can trigger bees to react.
I do believe that your recipe has soothed my dog's skin, and she likes it. Hopefully others would not have to go through what I went through, especially if you are near honey bees. Another thing that works really fast is a flea comb. Thank you! Sonja in Socal.

sadly i got my son's dog back when he died suddenly a year ago and he is allergic to tea tree oil, flea products, corn and wheat so i have to be very careful what i use. at the moment i use vinegar and dish soap or ppl shampoo for him for bath and we haven't gotten fleas in a few years. if we do i bath them every 2-3 days to kill them and keep egg laying to a minimum, plus put diatomaceous earth all over the floor of my bedroom where i keep them while battling the fleas. they go out to pee and straight back into my room. jthe earth kills fleas and eggs that fall on floor. then i vacuum daily where they walk and usually within 14 days the fleas are dead. it usually is late aug/sept/oct i get them here in canada and i also find i have wood heat so if i still have a few when oct comes and its time for heat i run the wood furnace good and hot for several days making the humidity very low and it kills them off. they can't live at less than 50 % humidity if u can keep it down for 48 hrs. this can be challenging if u have an HVAC system as all newer houses do by law here because the system keeps bringing in fresh air which has moisture in it. that happens in my house so if needed i run my dehumidifier in the basement to keep the humidity really low. i've only had them once in the last 5 yrs and that was because a relative brought dogs over with fleas after telling me they didn't have any. i live in the country in sand so i have to really watch out for them.

Thank you!!! Here is an FYI for us Human's!!! Use witch hazel on a soft paper towel after your bowel movement's , it totally cleanses you. Plus you can use to clean yourself after urninating men and women alike!! My family has done this for year's and we stay super clean. Freshen up any time and use as often as you like :)

I’ve done the commercial flea and tick stuff, but I really HATE putting chemicals on my dog, I’m in Iowa so once it freezes, I don’t give any flea, tick or heartworm meds. I live in a small town and in the summer the town sprays for mosquitos once a week in the evening. We don’t go out when they spay in the evenings. So this year I’m trying this method. Thank you Dr. Jones! ❀❀❀

Thanks for the info. This will be a new one for me. I never considered using witchhazel and Aloe. So I will keep it in the fridge to be on the safe side and I'm sure my dogs won't mind it being a bit chilled. And yes use this spray everyday or when you take your dogs out for their walks. Best be safe than sorry.

Best not to use on your cat if they groom excessively. Can be used cautiously. Only a light mist, spread it around with your hands, and then no more than once/week.
