Comment down below if your company stores data online and uses SQL to pull data.
Oh, and don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and share, to spread some digital literacy :)
Thanks for listening in!
Please make full tutorial for SQL please😓
😘😘
Can you tell some basic to start learning sql plzzz😒😒
Ive worked in sql for 6 years, we need more good looking people working in sql
You're a good woman.
I'm a good man.
Let's get in touch.
The lego analogies make this so easy to digest - thank you! SQL - Super Quick Learning thanks to you
Great line! "Super Quick Leaning"!
@ Is that when a Lego person suddenly loses a leg... super quick leaning?
I agree!
especially when she got to JOINS my god lol the break down was so easy to comprehend
I know right, i spent like 30min trying to figure out what the hell is SQl, but thanks Danielle this video really helped a lot.
"SQL Is the one language you probably should learn". Agreed! Data is the backbone of nearly every modern business. SQL is the key to that data.
Am willing to start learning SQL... so where do I start from and what do I need to start
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
I learnt r ,java and learning python now , do I still need SQL because the key things mentioned here I can equally do it in python
@@Angela-wp2zu Absolutely. SQL will still be useful when the company is not leveraging r, Java, or python.
Me: *Speaks SQL*
Guy at McDonalds: “wut."
The level of clarity in this video is A++. Thank you so much!

I was about to say how it feels like a friendly/lively and loved teacher is teaching me in kindergarten. What the hell, its so explanatory. Even with legos to get me more interested.
yes, she is reading
yeah i agree, it was a great video!
You've taught me more in 4 minutes than my teacher has done in this 3 hour class
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
Facts! Education system is now totally broken and on life support!
Lol same 😂
Poor teacher!
Just tell you teacher to play this video in class.
The essence of a good teacher is not just to promote well performers but to take care of those not so privileged. Thank you Daniel for choosing this simple yet most useful topic for programmers.
Thank you Gurpreet!
@ my pleasure
Who did say the sentence about the teacher? I would like to dive deep the author please. Btw thank you for the great explanation Danielle
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
WELL SAID, Gurpreet.
This was so simple and encouraging for me. I have decided to pick up a language to help me get a tech job for better opportunities financially and this was so helpful. I had someone in tech give me a little advice and u even mentioned it and i just love how helpful everyone seems to be in this industry.
Hello, I'm learning more about programming languages as I transition into a new job field into cybersecurity. Seeing that your comment is nearly a year old, I wanted to ask you a few questions about learning tools or platforms you may recommend for grasping a hold of tech info efficiently?
@@JadeaGipsonsame
can you provide an update?what did u end up using to learn code?
This is probably the first time in my life that anything has made so much sense when learning something technical like this 😅 I wish there was something like this for... everything! Thanks so much for breaking it down in a way that makes it so easy to understand.
Great job. Had a colleague once that was a MySQL analyst and everyone thought he was some kind of wizard in a dark art.
hahah yes!
@ hloo
@ plz tell me html
@ tommorow my board exam
@ mam I want to learn SQL I need your help mam
I did great starting my "SQL learning journey" with your video !! It made everything so easy to digest and appealing to know ! Thank you so much :D
Wow! I've never seen such a creative and effective way of explaining SQL. This was really helpful!
job descriptirion at work what is yours..i dont now if u want to leave...housekeeping challenges for a small hotel and low clientele not my deal..with my daily duty...then what..
This was short, well thought out, easy to follow, entertaining, and educational. + 1 more subscriber; can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Great idea for the LEGO concept .Best video for SQL introduction on CZcams so far.
Thank you for making this so simple and interesting... I'd love to learn SQL now!
You are a Jewel . This hands down is the best coding explanation i have eve seen on CZcams! just what the code doctor ordered.. very balanced approach in depth explanations through example code and real life situations and to the point liked and subbed! We need more ! thanks!
This channel is a hidden gold, I love how she explains everything. You should teach SQL
Wooow. Thanks so much for putting this in layman's terms. I went through hours of video with no clear explanation of SQL. You put it very plainly thank you
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
I love that you used LEGO for this! It makes a newcomer like me wondering what the heck SQL means, much more comfortable in trying to understand this, and feeling like I can try to actually go deeper in the topic. I'll sure remember Sally. Thank you!
I started learning SQL basics and still I didn't had a clear idea of what basically SQL is until I found this video. Excellent job creating this video. Thanks.
This is an amazing video! Your style of teaching is so great, you're able to catch the attention of learners and get us into the topic being discussed. Perfect explanation of SQL.
Thank you!
Thanks so much for this fun and informative video! If only all of my college professors taught like this, I would enjoy it a lot more!
Just subscribed...Thank you for the wonderful explanation. I've been a UX designer for 5 years and I am just now trying to get a better understanding of SQL! Better late than never :)
This was so clearly explained! Can't wait for more of your videos, thank you!
This was extremely helpful and the analogies made it much easier to absorb the info. Working in sales I would never imagine myself having to know this but here we are thank you so much.
one of the best vids that explains Sql for fairly beginners ;)
Danielle The, Great Content. The lego motion seemed very unique and explanation the was perfectly in sync. Thanks for uploading!
Best way to explain anything like this... Loved it !!!
It says when you simplify the concept that a layman can easily understand then you understood the concepts well. Thanks for the video ❤
My company uses SQL and I'm learning this while also refreshing on python. I love the Lego references which helps digest this new information for me in a fun way. Keep it up!
When you get comfortable with Python you can then use sql in your python scripts !
@@hammerheadcorvette4 That's cool, I never knew that. Thanks for the advice 😁
@@hammerheadcorvette4 thanks man
As a visual and auditory learner - this was perfect. I’m studying for the Microsoft Data Analyst Certification and this has been super helpful in breaking down concepts!
How far along are you now?
Can someone with no computer science background start learning that?
Did you complete the task of becoming a Data Analyst & if so was it through schooling or self taught? I really wanna learn but don't want to go back to school😒😒
good luck with your study!
Thanks for making me understanding this so quick. i have been reading about it for many hours but this video is a gem. Thanks
Fantastic video - concise, informative, fun to watch and demonstrated in terms I was able to actually "see". Keep it up! Thanks!
Amazing! This is enjoyable and fun! Oh snap, I learned a ton. You got me.
SELECT love it FROM thank you for uploading it is so easy to understand
Thank you, Danielle! It was punchy, to the point and very briefly gave me the whole picture! The way you delivered this message very simply was also impressive. Thank you.
Haha this is awesome. 🙏🏻
We need more videos with approach like this.
Database design and most computer science topics are not scary, they sound scary because we fail to remember how we learn them, and we try to make it sound supper nerdy and intelligent.
Never knew I needed lego analogies to learn SQL until today!! lol
You are absolutely fantastic!
I wish you would do a whole series on the language of SQL! This was right up my alley for learning and helped me so much!
Great introduction! Everyone gets it, even small children gets what SQL is and how it works, impressed! Great work!
Wow! This short presentation just blew me away!
I have a very short attention span, which, usually, makes it difficult for me to satisfy my thirst for knowledge. Your style of combined, synchronised VISUAL + VERBAL data delivery is just BRILLIANT! Thank you!
thanks so much! I agree. I am the same way with attention span coupled with a thirst for knowledge which is why I set out to make the videos this way.
Great video, keep going 🏋️
Wow I love the lego people demonstration. Thank you for this informative video! This got me really interested in SQL and want to learn it
WOW. Only CZcamsr I have found that have creative content to translate the complexity of software into simple and digestible bites that beginners can understand! Instead of using engineers' language but using common language to explain it. Thank you! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this vid and reflects high quality of the vid!
Keep uploading don't lag mam, love ur videos from 🇮🇳
Madam, your teaching method is very amazing, it helps us alot in mastering sql server, can you please make a detail video on "SECURING SQL SERVER".
Like logins, server roles, database roles, granting and revoking permissions, etc.
Will be waiting for your kind response.
Thanks in Advance

Great vid, easy to follow and broken down in such a simple way. Thank you
This is the best video to watch if you want to learn SQL but have zero knowledge about it. Thank you for explaining it the way that you did.
wow excellent one of the best video I ever watched about SQL, it's easy to understand for non technical people also. Great video thank you so much
Great breakdown! There is so little content out there for true beginners. All the "beginner" coding content out there assumes you already know how to code and you're just "beginning" a new language.
Very comforting to hear the SQL is the first and perhaps only language I need to learn. I actually somewhat understand it unlike every other programming language 😅
Same. It seems i am able to understand it a bit better and im hoping it will be just the beginning for me.
Thank you Danielle, you are awesome at explanations! keep going girl!
not everyone has this type of power to explain things. Thank you so much! I wish everyone could explain things like you.
Thanks for the introduction! I've come across it and done some SQL at uni, but had forgotten it. I'm applying for a job now where I need to know SQL hehe, so this came in handy ;)
For someone interested in databases and starting from just interest not any real Life computer experience except from graphic designing (Adobe Illustrator), what advice would you give for me learning enough languages to land an ENTRY LEVEL job?
In short, what would be a 2nd complimentary language to make me marketable?
I just learned more about SQL from this 4 minute video than I have from 6 of my hour and a half long University lectures LMAOOO
So amazing video! The Lego analogy was great for understand the code. Thanks for the video, Dani!
This is the most creative explanation I have ever seen.Thank you Danielle.
One 4 minute video > everything the professor is trying to teach.
Thank you! Vid should also be 5 secs shorter...
The lego explanation won my heart
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
Agreed! SQL is a basic tool everyone should master. Getting a grip over your Data is ever more important in this WFH setup.
thank you danielle for summarizing the 4 weeks plus of learn i needed to do in my senior year! thank you soo much!
*i cant believe they would make us learn something this simple for 4 weeks of just explanation on what SQL is*
thank you! and you got a new sub cuz im new here! :D
Awesome explanation as always....
Hi Danielle, this was a fantastic video! I shared it with my lego-loving friends!
Do you take requests?
Can you make a video on Hadoop?
Hadoop would be Nosql
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
thank you for making this video Danielle, your lego analogies and clear explanations were super helpful for a beginner like me. As someone who will be doing a more regulatory role in a pharmaceutical company, I believe I will be making use of SQL to communicate with the study databases
Finally, an easy to understand SQL description. Thank you!
Bring my man joe back. He did nothing wrong
Thanks, I got an interview coming up for a position requiring SQL. This helped a lot and wish me luck hehe
Hope you achieved
Hey John! How'd the interview go?
So did you get the job ?
Did you get the Job?
Did you get the job..? I hope Sally was able to pull the data from the interviewer brain cells
Thank you, that was simple straight forward and very informative. Your presenting style makes it very easy to understand
How did I never come across this channel before, this was great to watch!
Thank you for "dumbling" down the content for us novice coders. I was watching a Python coding video where they were using SQL "lite" and I was confused- not having ever studied SQL. Watching your video, I see the need to learn the language- at some basic to intermediate level.
How far along are you now?
"or you can delete Joe" oh so sql makes you a god, I get it now.
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
She murdered a kid! Joe barely got to live! She's a monster! ;)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was shocked at her ruthlessness with that Joe deletion... T_T
there is no joe in the comment section
Amazingly easy to understand, including examples you've given.
Thanks.
The style of making understand the concept was very unique . And I understand it nicely.
And I didn't work in any company I am a student , and tomorrow is my IT exam. Thank you for such a wonderful and animatic explanation.❤
Legends still don't know where Joe went.
Joe owed Sally money
Joe mama
Next time I hear SQl, I will remember Sally!
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
Hey, just wanted to say thanks. Awesome delivery loved it! It was easy to understand and fun to watch.
The Lego analysis was genius. As sbd who've never worked with SQL before this breaks down to me what it is. And I've got it clearly. Thanks ma'am. Blessings
My company uses MySQL. Easy to learn language, but it can be painful and tedious depending on the data you need to gather. (Seattle, USA) 🇺🇸
Exactly. And also depends on how big and disorganized the data is set up in the database!
Danielle Thé fasho!
czcams.com/video/9RvaezdcqrU/video.html
2:54 Stalin be like
INSERT INTO Gulag(name, age)
VALUES ("Joe", 13)
Go to Gulag..!!!!!
Oops I forgot a ;
Thank you for the clear concise explanation and with such amazing spirits!
This was amazing! I have been taking classes and honestly, this is way more understanding than all my classes combined!
First like
I'm completely new to this, so what can SQL do what say an excel table can't?
Had the same thought. I was talking to someone who knew basics of databases and SQL. In some cases, there actually isn't much difference when using lite versions of SQL. But outside of that, what I gathered is size and capabilities separate SQL from excel. SQL databases can be massive in size, where excel cannot. Also the ability to automate population of a database via some type of forum a person may fill out. Obviously, you can't have someone fill out a SQL database row by row, you'd need to automate that somehow.
I'm sure there's much more too.
Best intro on SQL I've seen.. kudos
Amazing summary and clarity. Thanks! Definitely subscribed.
I can imagine the coffee inside the lego cup is very hot being so close to you :)
Calm down there, basement dweller
Next time my wife who works in data starts talking about SQL I’m gona know what she’s talking about rather than just made a joke about squirrels. Thanks
You must be handsome and 20 years younger, my guess.
Pleasantly surprised at how helpful this video was!! Seriously this was great! Thanks!
Finally, I could understand the concepts clearly. Thank you for sharing such a great explanation!! The Lego representations were amazing!
She is soo beautiful 🥺👀
My reaction: she is beautiful 😍
amazing stuff! fast, simple, and easy to digest
Thank you ! Such a great video I like how you related the explanation with the lego that 😁it’s easy to be remembered now
Fast, short and easy. you are amazing !
That was ridiculously helpful. You've got a gift for teaching.
Appreciate it!
You are a true G lol. I bumped into your video while searching 'learn SQL' and I can't even wait to finish the video before subscribing (it was that good!). Thanks for the quick simple, no messing about presentation.
Hi, this was a really good introductory video about sequel. Thank you so much.
And yes my company uses sequel to extract data. Thanks once again ☺️👍
Oh my, thank you so much. I love and enjoy the way you represent the topic using LEGO Figures. I had so much trouble trying to learn what and how to use SQL. Thank you so much! Subbed and liked.
Im new to the whole webdev world and the way you present things is awesome. thanks x
You make things easy to understand. I love it. Thanks so much!
I've been trying to get the idea behind SQL for a while now but only now I get it :D Thank you! Very well explained!
