Me Jew You Do is really a double entendre when you really think about it
G4 was so damn good in the beginning you have no idea. There were multiple shows that took place inside of games, like Everquest or maybe Elder Scrolls, basically red vs blue type shiz but with actual story. It was pure games at first so none of those annoying "late night hosts" that they introduced later on. Xplay with Sessler was solid, they had an episode where they tested the durability of the ps2/gc/xbox by dropping them from 2 stories up, gamecube won I think. It was around that time when Attack of the Show started airing and the gaming content began to disappear. Near the end they started airing Cops all day just to stay afloat, I watched a lot of Cops to be fair.

I liked Code Monkies. The boss was awesome.
Their video game sketches/bits were also funny sometimes.
The show you are thinking of was called "Portal" and yes it was glorious, amatuer machenima but better than anything the "pros" spit out today. G4 used to be TechTV than went into G4TechTV than just G4, but it seemed like they wanted to be there and cared about video game/pop culture but now all we have are vultures in their place.
