Vancouver is home to many culinary masters, and Chief Gary Lau is one of them. His previous venture, Starry Kitchen, was known for its frozen fresh Hong Kong-style food, which many have tried and found unforgettable.
Starry Kitchen was doing well in Vancouver, but why did Chief Gary Lau stop? Did he retire?
Not at all. Chief Gary Lau’s passion for food and his pursuit of flavor can be described as extreme. Although his frozen fresh food was popular among the people of Vancouver, he stopped his business to create the ultimate cuisine. He went to Thailand to study and enhance the flavors of his Thai cuisine. Today, he has finally started sharing the results of his studies in Vancouver, opening Sip Song Thai Cuisine.
People in Vancouver are in for a treat. Now, they can enjoy authentic Thai food at Sip Song, located at the intersection of Dunbar and West 16th Street!

@@CanMen 烏頭係用海裡面嘅烏魚苗,特登攞去魚塘用特別嘅方法飼養先可以叫烏頭。 用喱個方法飼養烏頭係因為海中捕捉嘅烏魚唔夠好食。 雖然烏魚同烏頭係同一種魚,但生長環境完全唔同。 烏頭係經過多年改良嘅。 所以肉滑油香。 烏魚就肉鞋,啲油又唔香。 台灣人取了烏魚子後條魚基本上冇乜人食㗎。

哦,咁泰國人係咪食香港淡水烏頭㗎?
@@CanMen 90年代之前我就唔知,但90年代之後人哋(泰國人)都改食大陸淡水烏頭。 大佬。。。肉質真係好食好多㗎。 雖然大陸烏頭超平,但我覺得泰國人應該掌握咗飼養烏頭技術。 依家應該會有泰國Local 烏頭。 唉。。唔好當泰國人係Lulu 啦。
