What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for CZcams, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

I wish the deliveries were sent to the storeroom if you have it unlocked...
There’s a mod for it 😊
I enjoy the time lapses. It's strange, watching you play supermarket simulator is almost more satisfying than playing it myself lol
YES! I feel exactly the same way! It satisfies the urge to play when I can’t lol
same here..
You don't have to deal with any stress when you are just watching.
The time lapse is nice, also the sped up cashiers look like theyre rocking out to the music lol.
"These pretzels are making me thirsty!"
I've been trying to figure out why this game is so strangely fascinating to play and to watch, and I now think it may be due to the products - lots of delicious looking food and drink items, often very close to real brands of stuff we love, and your comment about the fries and the cola making you want to eat/drink them, made me realize, that this could well be the magic of the game.
as a french this store makes me think the game dev is french because we have these, like the pasta, butter, cheeses, candies (especially the white one which is called bonbek in game which is slang for candy here), milk looks the same, the chocapik cereal, the loué chicken, the la baleine salt etc i feel right at home LOL
Time lapse is a fantastic addition to the videos. Keep using it.
You should keep some empty boxes - one of each size - so you can move stuff around and re-organize them. By the your store looks great, pretty well set-up and organized.
Your store is the most well-stocked, oraganized and I love the way it is set up..
Also your discipline to keep everything neat is amazing.. the best store on youtube❤❤
I'd argue it's overstocked.
the time speed was nice. I am level 33 in game. Never thought how much I would love this type of game. I'm addicted.
i enjoy the time lapses.. well like real life seeing people buy stuff at your store is very satisfying.
Keep up the great videos! You definitely got me addicted to this game! I noticed that when you load up the game there are notes of what's going to be added. Like not needing a box to move items, cctv, inventory, and other awesome looking stuff!
I enjoy the Timelapse! You got me into this game and it’s so relaxing!
I hadn't been using racks in my storage but this episode made me put a few in. Noticed there's already an update where a little tag pops up with the item above the box! Reminds me of the price labels but it also tells you how many you have across all your boxes on that shelf!!
When it comes to the shelving, I put a box of an item being stored right in front of the shelf first. For example I store the rice, elbow pasta, spaghetti, and pasta all on a single shelving unit. I put a box of spaghetti on the the floor in front of the left side of the unit, and two boxes of pasta right behind that in the first actual shelf spot. That way I know that side of the shelving only holds spaghetti on the second shelf tier, and two boxes of pasta on the third tier, with the fourth tier holding a box of each. I always take from the top, never the bottom, so I know exactly what's being stored at all times. I use that same principle with the ride side of the shelving unit, rice at the front, elbow pasta behind, then a tier of rice (four boxes) then next two tiers holds pasta (two boxes per tier). It's not perfect, but it works for me.
I do something similar with the larger boxed items like chicken, toilet paper, and potatoes. I put a box of each in front of the shelving, then stack four of each behind them, and ensure I always have five boxes on hand at all times. The biggest drawback is the shelving has to have adequate spacing in the corners of the storage area.
You could put a shelf at the end of the aisle and move the refrigerators up just a little bit so that your oil can be by the rest of your baking stuff
Instead of buying a case of something to use the box to move things, you could get all 6 by collecting them when you buy what you need then you would be able to move stuff around as you wish :) just a little tip, love your game play! Keep doing what you do!
You should stick another cashier Kage so you can help out in gaining more money and working towards another staff
I enjoy the time lapse, also if you need more cashier time to get the next upgrade you can either fire one or you can buy another checkout and just box it up when you don't want to use it
The time lapses are nice, so you can see what’s going on
Personally I'd rather watch you reorganise your shop than watching a timelapse of the day, but that's just my opinion. Great vid!
You can store overflow boxes on top of freezers and refrigerators for easier restocking. Also, if you put your checkout stands in front of the windows, you will maximize your space better.
What i do in my store is, i have one of each size of box lying outside, then i always have a box for moving items around, as the box does not have to be of the right product but of the right size! :) + i like the time lapse
I am not really sure what is going on. Kage, you have been talking about doing expansions in pairs for a long time now. But your store is no longer 2x2. You have a 2x3 that you bought 2 more spaces for. If you bought a pair of extensions again you would have a 3x3 with an extra square added on
If you dont want to deal with trying to arrange stuff in a non square space you want to buy a single expansion.
And then if you want to, you can save up for 3 expansions, after that the sequence would be 4, 4, 5, 5, etc .
If you move your registers back further against the wall you can get another shelving unit deep per row. I did this and love it!!!!!
Not sure if you know, but if you look underneath the item name in the market menu, it tells you what type of item you can store in it. Fridge, Freezer, Shelf etc
would be nice if it told you that in the lisence page also prior to buying it for fore planning thou (Fr) freezer (F) fridge (S)Shelf
Kage hates reading lol
Love the timelapse
I’m around the same spot in the game as you. It’s always annoying getting new products and having to rearrange everything😂
Personally I consider the Storage racks a waste of money because you cant see what's in the boxes on the upper half of them, I just stack the boxes on the floor.
The timelapse-thing is allright, but not on a regular basis. :-) The way you've used it so far in this game is very good though!
Keep the bread box n the storage when it’s empty to use when u want to move stuff
Kage with you having the ability to order between 8am to 9pm. Cut all the items down too one shelving unit and then you will have more space for other items.
open case on floor stacked in front of shelf may help. bottom to top
I wish they grouped licenses better. Like I want to skip freezer items, but they come with shelf items too. The grouping doesn't make a lot of sense. Should be a dairy license, condiment license, cereal license, and so on.
The French Fries are the EXACT same as the french fries here in a shop called Sainsburys in the UK😂😂😂
I so wanted Kage to take the bottom box of those stacked potatoes!! 😂
You could easily buy more licenses if you would just cut back on how much shelf space you dedicate to each item.
you should be able to unlock grocery delivery and you have to pack orders for customers lol
Yes to the time lapse I enjoy them, have you thought about turning the back wall into a cold goods isle? I feel like they might not be grabbing eggs and yogurt because it's in the front of the store. In real life you are supposed to grab cold goods last so it spends less time out the fridge, maybe it's the same concept?
I did notice that there's one more container called, 'crates', in the game that I think may be for bottled items such as beer, wine or spirits, perhaps? Obviously, I think you would need to purchase a special licence to buy alcohol. Unless, I'm reading too much into it.
I'm taking a different route, not using the Storage at all and instead keeping a full day's worth of stock in boxes next to the shelves they go on (yes, spaces between shelves to accomodate box stacks). Don't ask me why, but it soothes my OCD to SEE it next to where it will go. There is almost no chance of not having enough. Also I set my prices at a straight $0.25 above Market. It seems to work well enough. I tried $0.40 at first and got too many complaints.
here we call muscle milk "long life" - but since ive been watching you play, i cant stop calling it muscle milk XD
I was telling you to do a time-lapse from the days of the forest. Timelapses are great because we can see what you are doing in a faster pace. You don't have to cut the video. We want to see what are you doing. Just use Timelapses. Keep up the good work!!
at least with time lapse it looks like your cashiers work at the same speed as I do.
Make every row up in your storage the same product. And toilet paper up top! 😊
Setup is pretty good
I keep putting new products in and forgetting to price them too. 😂
I wish you would do longer videos on this. I liked your office idea last video. Got sidetracked and did not comment then. Keep this going. You should move your computer to the storage if you can.🎉🎉🎉
Over stocking on some products you could make room for different stuff
I think the time laps is cool.
or the dev could make it so when you put a box on the shelve it will put what it is on the self itself but putting the label/picture on side would be better
Only mistake is picking up this spectrum game, im like 40 hour in just from end of last week lmao
Most of those things you’re kind of asking for in the mod thing
Swear this game should be called restock simulator because that's what I spend 92% of my time doing
I want to make a game where you clean and organize hoarders houses...Kage would never sleep again ..no hate K, I am just the same ..lol
toilet paper goes with the 4 other cleaning products...
Time-lapse is yes.
12:44 love time lost
Lapse
@@leegc1835are you having a relapse?
Is there any word about adding expiry dates to product? That'd sure change the dynamic of the game and add realism.
If you've watched other episodes of kages series on this he mentions that too much realism would be bad. Reading expiration dates would make the game less enjoyable in the end
Now we need Costco simulator
Welcome to Costco, I love you 😂😂😂
Can you put the computer in the storage room?
I don't know why I keep watching this game, it's stupid, it's the same thing over and over again, but I can not stop watching, is there subliminal messages in this game, to make me keep watching it, as that's the only conclusion, I have been able to come up with that makes any sense.
why can't that put the picture of the product what's in the boxes on the front when there on the racks in the storage
Real estate simulator
Muscle milk 😂😂😂😂
gj,kage
You call that organized?
The game needs pet products.
I'd much rather you play the game and talk instead of having me mute the video during a pointless time lapse
