    Note to all, if you do buy the boomarms steel front end set, don’t buy the g&p WA spec barrels unless it’s a pencil profile! I messed up and the g&p barrel I got is too thick of a profile so none of the steel front end parts I got fit on it unfortunatley.
    I’ll make a follow up video with some more tips and things I’ve found for this kit after actually building it.

    I have a question about the barrel extension/feed ramp part that you showcased at 2:32
    I ordered a prebuilt M733 but they forgot this piece and they won't respond to my emails, do you perhaps know where I could find a replacement part?

    Great video thanks for making!
    So now you have had the kit for a while do you reccomend it?
    There are not many options for an m733 build especially with a 6061 Aluminum receiver other than Nova or Angry Gun. Think VFC maybe do a fix carry handle AR but then their receivers are cast ally/zinc blend

      I can pretty whole heartedly recommend the nova kit, and unless you have to have an a2 upper receiver I would overall say go for the nova over the angry gun (ive had both) hard to explain but the AG has some weird design features I’m not a fan of, and also some mixed reviews but overall seems to work well too if you need that proper a2 upper in your life as it’s the only option.
      I do love the qd barrel/hop system in the nova for ease of maintenance as mentioned, though it’s only held in place by a set screw which does not seem the most secure, yet hasn’t caused any issues yet. I have had a cpl issues where the hop dial seems to jump out from under the adjuster dial, might be user error but something to watch for. Also I don’t like needing a tool to make hop adjustments, but in reality it’s not a big deal as that shouldn’t need to change much. Just keep a flathead in your kit and you should be good to go!

      That's really great thanks for the reply! 😊
      I see Boomarms do a full rifle with TM internals so I'm thinking of ordering that one in a few weeks. It does actually work out cheaper than buying an MWS and the kit separately.
      One more thing I also wanted to ask, how was the shipping experience? I know your in the US and I'm in the UK so I appreciate not quite a like for like experience but were they quick to dispatch their end and use a decent carrier like UPS or DPD?
      Thanks very much 👍

    Sorry just one more question if thats ok 😅
    What gas do you use?
    Is green gas ok or do you stick with 134a?

      I use propane only since it’s cheap. So essentially green gas without the lube, and stinkier. Only thing you mainly need to run green gas is an upgraded nozzle spring, see my recommended upgrades video, which I need to update. I’d get a bavtac nozzle spring these days

    Couple of questions
    Can you just fit the original hop up system from mws (actually just use the externals of the kit) or is it a must to use that one that comes with it
    Can you use the original mws outter barrel?
    Could you even just mount the upper receiver into the original mws lower?

    • @Wolfman_NV
      @Wolfman_NV  Před 2 lety

      You have to use their HopUp as the chamber design is different, but you can use a stock barrel. I should do an update now that I have it. They were supposed to give me an adapter for WA barrels as that’s what the steel barrel is but didn’t so I was confused. Also nova steel mws barrels don’t fit fyi I believe.. need to double check why my memory sucks.
      Should be able to throw on a factory lower but can confirm. Not sure they sell just the upper tho?

      @@Wolfman_NV so basically you have to use the whole kit... Copy. I was happy with the mws original performance, and I don't really think the new hop up will be better. About the lower it's just about the possibility to swap uppers for quick change between builds (from mk18 to m733). Thanks for the info since there's literally NONE out there... Maybe you could do a review on how it performs now vs stock.
      Thanks 😉

      @@deejayxela555 sure man I’d love to give some more thoughts and do a follow up once I have some decent time on it, initial impressions are good though I just gamed it the first time last weekend and it was shooting better than my mk18! I think the hop up works great, I just wish it was toolless adjustment (requires flathead to adjust) Overall it’s a nice kit if you’re after the fixed carry handle look, otherwise stock receivers always work the best and have the most parts compatability.
      Angry gun does sell their m733 upper on its own fyi, but has some bad reviews. Mine works good now but I had some jamming issues at first I atttibute to their funky mag shelf design on the upper.. so can’t whole heartedly recommend it. The nova worked great from the get.
      Also been meaning to showcase the Dytac noveske n4 kit, it has a cpl design quirks as well that I don’t like and a potential barrel nut sleeve issue I’m aware of but has been a great build and performs flawlessly for me.
      But to clarify, the nova kit does work with stock tm barrels, it’s just the steel front end kit I got from boomarms used a WA spec barrel and adapter for some reason. But that is totally seperate to the receiver kit itself.

    What brand of triggerbox do you use

    • @Wolfman_NV
      @Wolfman_NV  Před rokem +1

      I mainly just have stock trigger boxes but do have a g&p gold in my noveske that was pretuned by RIW. Mine has worked great but have heard they take a lot of tuning if bought stock. Trigger boxes can be tricky to get to run well in general from what I gather, but can usually be sorted. Most popular seems to be guns modify evo and g&p silver

      Should be fine, don’t have personal experience with those. Think they may require the bolt to work as well as they do away with the zet system? The zet system is part of what makes the mws bolt lock so reliable so I like to stick with it personally
