The rink is too big in international games for his type of playstyle.
@@ericp758 it becomes evident who are good skaters and who aren't. I think Sweden overall have some of the best skating players in the world.
@@TheFreppoBig rinks are better, it lends itself more to proper team play, with small rinks it becomes much more about brawling and individual moments of brilliance.

Regarding Check - Finland opener game (no pun intended): I am not aware of any hockey game, ever, that was 0 - 0, even after overtime. Has that ever happened before?

@@larsandersson5974 It was due to the game style, but since Finland hasn't changed it at all, other countries have realized it a long time ago and this doesn't work anymore today. In recent years, Finland has been known for its boring style of play

SWE has definitely better defense that's not even close but our goalie has slight edge and offense as well imo. Let's the better team win and enjoy great hockey in my hometown ❤

Why are all the full live streams added to the channel except this game SWE vs USA? I have looked everywhere to rewatch the game. This is the only one not added, can I ask why?

There are many matchups between teammates from the NHL here. Minnesota, Detroit, Tampa and maybe more.
You always side with the team you are playing for in the game. Boldy and Ek had some moments in this one for instance because they both want to win despite being NHL teammates.

I would say it happens in practically every single tournament and that it always has.

What looks like an easy victory, don't forget that the US usually starts worlds tasteless and uninspired. The question is whether it is smart to send a team with more "name knowledge" to worlds than the previous three years, which mostly consists of juniors.
If this is what the US will offer, it would have been better to send over their U16-U18 Team as they both have more speed and talent.
